shellyr, I bought the Maternity Maternity 3-in-1 coat off of Amazon and it just arrived. It's warm, comfy & has the bonus of having an extra "flap" to accommodate a baby carrier. It's a $140, but worth it, I think. Here's the link if you are interested: 3-in-1 maternity coat

Thanks 45thparallel. It's a strange feeling overall. I feel having been gone for one year for parental leave, I missed so much. Have been off confidence wise since then. Hopefully I can shake it. I do love the idea of more community projects, so we will see how it all works out.

Hey ladies! I have a bit to catch up on so I will just post vomit. :-) Hmm...where to start. I think I updated that I colored my hair Friday so....Saturday!
C had his last soccer game and played his best game of the season, sadly they still lost. They are one of the youngest teams in the league. Then we went to leave to go to my mom's hometown for Chris as with that side of the family. Couldn't get on the turnpike because stupid Pence was in the area.

Got to visit with my dad and Grandma. Did a lot of talking with my dad and a little with her. Even though she one it was me, she didn't recognize me with my hair. I told her I would try to have it "normal" the next time I see her. Kids had a great time playing together and I scored a reindeer onesie from our exchange!

I had to do a full reset on my phone Sunday because I wasn't getting any of my mom's text messages. Lesson learned, don't try to do such a thing on the turnpike where there is no interwebz. We ended the evening over at the neighbors which was fun abd time needed. The day was going on forever.

Monday....sucked. Was a horrible day at work production wise and it was cold and I just can't deal with cold/dark. SAD is in full swing. I feel like there was more to Monday, but I can remember.

Yesterday was also miserable thanks to the weather (though I did much better at work). H feels helpless when I start to get like this. I think I am going to force myself to go to the gym and maybe get in the tanning beds to help get some "sun" shining on me. Also, I can't deal with K's attitude. If you say "no" or anything she doesn't want to hear it turns into a freaking tantrum.

Today was a pretty good day. Dropped the kids off at daycare and was told they need pullups if I want them putting K on the toilet. I said if she is interested I will bring them in (she screams bloody murder at home). So I picked some up to take in tomorrow. I brought up the little potty and asked her after dinner if she needed to potty. After a while and no results I put on a diaper. Queue tantrum. I took it off, she sat on the potty and peed!!! Hoping that she will potty train easily! I am ready to be done buying diapers.

Blah..Sorry to debbie downer this thread, but man I'm in a 'great' place. I finished off my night getting into a fight with DH. He came home from volunteering (where he volunteers with homeless youth) and he was sharing all these stories about the connections he is making there. It made me so sad (and feeling selfish) that he is not putting any kind of the same effort in building the relationship/connection with DS1. It just frustrates me...and makes my heart sad. Ugh, today is not a good day. Tomorrow will be better...has to be. (DS1 starts a new job tomorrow)

I washed, folded and put away 6 loads of laundry today. If you are think jedi you did that last week. I did not. I took last weeks washed towels out of dryer that day and rewashed my delicates last night. 😂

redandblue, and also one more thing - you talked me off a crazy ledge the other day. i was ready to be the crazy parent at daycare, so i thank you. and i wanted to let you know that i appreciate that! You might not be feeling pretty confident right now, but you come off as damn confident. and you are smart and wise! I say all this but really mean, there's no way you are sucking at your job - you are great at what you do.
