I'm so sorry, tgrimes. Does she have any other symptoms aside from the vomiting? Fever or rash?

MH is at work and the kids and I have painted, played with all C's new toys, played outside, taken a loooong walk and now L is down for a nap. I need a nap too.

I’ve been up since 3:30 because M vomited again. WHY DOES THIS KEEP HAPPENING?!?! Poor girl. When she is able to eat can you get probiotics in to her at all? I’ve been doing that once a day. Should I do it more?

tgrimes damn, poor girl. Did the Dr. say how many days is considered too many for this? I'm concerned that it is not a birthday and something else since it has lasted so long. She said unless she couldn’t keep anything down or she was rolling around on the floor screaming in pain, that I shouldn’t worry. This is getting ridiculous though.

Cyclic vomiting syndrome, or CVS, is a condition that causes bouts of uncontrollable vomiting. According to the Children's Hospital of Wisconsin, a CVS episode usually begins between 2 a.m. and 6 a.m.. At the peak of a CVS episode, your child could be vomiting every five minutes. Though the cause of CVS isn't clear, it usually resolves itself when your child reaches puberty. It is important to consult your child's doctor if you believe he is suffering from this syndrome, because there are medications that can help treat or prevent episodes.

He woke up with a fever still and said his head, stomach and leg hurt. He was happy and wanted to paint right away though!

Is this what mx2’s daughter has? Ftr I think it has to happen like 3 times before they will diagnose that. lfig’s S and my nephew we’re going through a weird vomiting thing at the same time and I was doing some research at the time.

Cadence is back to circling more stuff in the TRU catalog. She says she wants an Elf on the Shelf. I explained that it reports back to Santa each night on whether or not she was good that day. She said she would be good for her.....hmmm, may be worth it 😉 S carried the TRU, Meijer, and Target catalogs around for days. I had to tape them back together several times. She wants that carriage thing that's kind of like the little tikes cars.

Took the boys to the park while Alex hauls water. Pretty sure they were about to kill each other if they were penned up in the house any longer.

tgrimes I'm really sorry poor girl is sick again. I was thinking the same thing klong11 mentioned because I've heard of that before but don't have any personal experience. Or I was wondering if it's reflux. Either way I hope the docs take you seriously and get to the bottom of it soon. peachsmama that sounds awful. I hope the water gets fixed soon.

Tomorrow is the only day I have off from 9 days of work and MH scheduled non-essential car maintenance so I have to wake up extra early to give him a ride back from the shop. *bangs head on wall*

Does anyone have magic tracks? C got some and they were a huge hit with all the kids! They're really cool and fun. Only downside is the tracks are hard to clip together so an adult definitely needs to help. My parents got them for S last year. He loves them

Party was good! Trampoline park was a bit of a bust but that’s ok. Came back here and his friend came over, it was awesome to see him play so nice and not need us. The cake was a hit and people seemed to have a good time.

Morning! Er, afternoon?
Everyone else’s kids missed the memo that we got an extra hour of sleep, I assume?
We have family pictures today so just finished some errands and lunch; hoping both kids will take naps beforehand. They’re currently playing together and C sounds like a cross b/n an Ewok and a minion—it’s adorable.
Off to catch up!
