We are trusty providers. Although with the amount of ToTers we get we should just full size candy bars

Band shirts should come from concerts. They are far superior in terms of coolness.

I could be talked into Baby #3.
However, I have no clue how I would refer to he/she here. Tiny Bones?

I will happily hold anyone’s third child. And then I will give it back and not be sad.
Ok, a little sad

I vaguely remembering the discussion last year (or year before) where I learned that the Canadian and American smarties were something different. I think we have rockets (what you refer to as smarties). Canadian smarties are perfect little pieces of candy-coated chocolate...but you must save the red for last! Lol

I want a third, but then mornings where DS2 have a major morning tantrum trying to get him dressed, and DS1 refuses to get out of bed to make it to school, reminds me that all ends of this damn parenting spectrum suck...lol...but I still want a third...

I don't even know what Canadian smarties are. candy coated chocolates similar to M&Ms but taste a lot different. The coating is thicker and crunchy

I want a third but everytime I remember how hard it was to recover financially and career wise from mat leave I pause. Then I remember how hard it is to find a daycare and I am fully out.

CestLaVie, well shezzzz i know need those in my life. You won’t regret it. Maybe you’ll not be able to eat the chocolate m&ms again ( bc they are inferior) but it’s still worth it

I like the smell of newborn poop. I remember that I thought P’s poop smelled like movie theater buttered popcorn.

I really want to flip E’s seat around. I am so tired of feeling like I’m wrestling an alligator everything I try to get him in the seat. We (read H) flipped it in H’s car and it’s so much easier when we take his car.

Then flip it jedi. If E is past your States age restrictions and he meets your seats minimums to FF, do it.

Oh, that reminds me of a confession: Up until 3 months ago, my dang husband was still using our infant carrier and base as a car seat for kiddo in his truck. Our 2 year-old. In an INFANT carrier. ???
I didn't know that he was doing this (I just assumed he was using taking the car seat from his car and putting it in the truck), and it seriously took me an hour to explain to him that he just cannot use the infant car seat for a toddler. He finally got it and ordered a new seat for the truck.
(luckily he doesn't use the truck very often, and only for quick local trips)

girlonabike when s1 was in daycare and somewhere btwn 18-24 months, one of the kids I’m his room (and older than him by about 3 months) would come in all the time in an infant seat. Legs dangling at the bottom. I finally said something to the assistant director and I think they said something to the parents.

The meal planning thread always makes me feel inferior. I cook maybe twice a week but I make enough that it can be eaten for a few days after. Then a few nights a week, we eat at my parents house. It helps keep the grocery bill down and they like having us. Also my H will eat absolutely anything and he really just likes simple foods (hamburger helpers, meatloaf, tacos, sandwiches, pizza...) So I am thankful that meal planning is not really a big deal in this house

If I don't plan things ahead of time we don't really have a back up plan. If we could go back to winging it I totally would!

Yeah, I meal plan to save money and make sure food doesn’t go to waste, and also because I just really enjoy cooking and menu planning. It’s fun and relaxing for me. But if it’s not someone’s thing, that’s no big deal! I’m team do whatever works for you, taketheshot!

Also, for me, I kinda freak out if I don’t know what we are doing for meals. It’s when the portion of my type A kicks in. I can’t wing it. And if my family actually ate left overs I’d love to eat the same meal for a few days. Lol A lot of our meals are those things you mentioned too. Hamburgers, tacos and hot dogs are regulars.

taketheshot, you ARE meal planning! It just looks different for you! I meal plan to save money, I always have left overs for lunch, but after two meals of the same I’m done. I have a bunch of stuff I can toss together in 20min or less, and sometimes eggos and eggs are dinner. Or hot dogs (I personally enjoy hot dogs, so those are my favorite nights )
