Baby girl is here! Super fast, med free delivery. I will update tomorrow!
Update: It’s been a crazy 24 hours! Baby girl (yet to be named) arrived yesterday at 6:33 PM weighing in at 7lbs 4oz. I called my midwife around 4pm because contractions were getting stronger and closer together. We got to the hospital just before 5 pm, got a room and they broke my water around 5. Contractions got intense right away and baby was born 1 1/2 hours later. No time for the epidural.
We got discharged the same night (our choice) but had to go back today for follow up blood work. Nothing too concerning but still needs more monitoring. I am physically exhausted from the experience, but am enjoying the newborn snuggles.
