Good morning! I'm off work today for my glucose test at 9am so I'm here to play (although I also want to try to clear out our nursery and do a few other tasks around the house!).

I contacted IP yesterday via live chat. They sell bases separate for $54 and they told me to email them and within 24-72 hours they'll send me a coupon for the purchase. I threw the IP base and power cord out not thinking, but thankfully H forgot to put the garbage out yesterday so my mom was able to run out and grab the power cord. So I'm happy that I'll be back up and running soon.

H also has 2 builders coming by Saturday to give us estimates on adding a second floor. I am very excited about this.

Betweenthelines , that's awesome you can rebuild your IP. I was so sad for you. I was really, really beating myself up about it. I'm glad I reached out to them because I had no idea they sold individual parts to it.

Yay Betweenthelines! That's good to know! I'm so glad you can just replace the base! RunsforWineandCarbs, today is just the one hour. Hopefully they take me back quickly to drink the drink so I don't have to be there much longer than an hour! Some of my friends go to offices that give them the drink ahead of time but our office wants to see us drink it and everything.

I went out to dinner last night with one of my neighborhood mom friends and it was so nice! I do get to do things by myself some (like go to my glass mosaic art class), so it's not like I never get to do anything but it is rare on a weeknight so it seemed especially fun, I think. Speaking of which, I should be finishing my mosaic soon! I can't wait and I'll share a pic when I do. Maybe next week or the week after. I started it last November....(but I don't go all that frequently). It is technically done, but there is a section I want to re-do before I grout it.

Do any of you guys get fruit flies? They are driving me crazy in our kitchen! All our friends have them too and we do the whole vinegar/dish soap thing that catches a ton but ugh.

So, I bought too many apples at the orchard. This is my first of 2, possibly 3 batches of applesauce and I still want to make apple butter.

Betweenthelines awesome news about the IP! easternshoregirl yes to the fruit flys. No idea how to get rid of them. I will say I decided to check the bottom of the trash can to see if anything got stuck on the under the the trash bag. And I found a few blueberries. It helped a little once I got rid of that

jedi, do you know about putting out vinegar? There are variatons on it but we do a little bit (don't need much!) of apple cider vinegar with a drop of dish soap mixed in. Put it out in a small dish and they will flock to it and die!!! DIE!!!!!!!!!!

I need a new Crock-Pot, mine died a couple of weeks ago... What size would you get? I'd like to be able to do a whole chicken in it. My old one was 4qt, so I know I need to go bigger than that.

Fx you pass the 1 hour ESG because the 3 hour suuuucked. I'm wearing long sleeves today to cover up my "track marks". One of my friends has to do the 3 hour on Friday. I think she sabotaged herself before the one hour though b/c she gave up carbs for a few days leading up to it and then I think her body must have gone into shock when she drank the glucola! I've read something about that before, how you are just supposed to mostly eat like your regular diet/not change anything leading up to it. My MIL brought us these Korean brown sugar buns she made and I plan on having one (or two) after the test today! We also have a bunch of leftover birthday cake in the fridge too!
