sarahandben108, I almost always have to wake up to pee or comfort the toddler. I've always been pretty fortunate in that it really takes me almost no time to fall back asleep.

officedronette, DD was always chill through the NSTs. It usually took like an hour. Thankfully DS has been going crazy during his so I'm pretty much in and out.

Thanks for all the well wishes. I had my growth ultrasound and baby is measuring 4lbs 7ounces! officedronette I had the same experience at my NST today. Apparently it's normal for them to be non reactive at this gestation.

jrun2013 - she's normally awake and active at that hour, but I had a hot tea and I think it lulled her to sleep. We'll see what she does tomorrow. I wonder if we'll run into each other there one of these days!

FTM question...at what point do you start doing NSTs? My doctor hasn’t even brought it up yet. I start weekly appointments Monday.

My sister was saying she had them like every other day starting at one point so I was curious. Also, at what point do they start checking if you are dialated? I think my doctor said 36w but my appointment Monday is 35+3 and I don’t want surprises.

rooskie, NSTs are only used if there is some risk in the pregnancy. Mine is because I had hypertension with DD. I'm on meds now and it's controlled, but they don't want surprises. As for cervix checks not all docs do them anymore. Mine is starting at 36, so next week. Also you'll likely have the GBS swab at your next appointment as well so be prepared for that!

Hugs, jrun2013. I've been thinking about you and your experience a lot lately. I hope everything continues to go well for you! How far along are you?: 34+3 How big is baby?: Unsure - but at 32 weeks baby was 75th percentile and 4.5 lbs. Any upcoming appointments this week?: Had a super boring one a few days ago! Just belly measurements and heartbeat. Any new symptoms or changes?: Feeling huge and slow and gross. I spend a lot of time daydreaming about how I'm going to lose this weight, and how I'm going to get my muscle tone back after I have this kid. Probably setting myself up for disappointment, but the idea of being active again/refraining from junk just sounds so good. But not, like, good enough to start now of course! Rants/Raves/AW/Questions?: The nursery is coming along and I've started buying and washing baby clothes. After years of IF, these activities feel so monumental! I'm so grateful. GTKY: if you could changes jobs, what would you do? I'd love to own a bakery.

Yep, mine did check my cervix with DD. CS was scheduled at 38.5 weeks, so I'm sure he checks near the end normally, maybe 39? It must vary by dr.

typo31 thank you. I'm glad the issue with your placenta resolved. Otherwise, weren't you planning on a c-section at 34 weeks? I'm also thinking about how I'm going to lose the baby weight. I think I'm going to try weight watchers, which I've never done before, but I need a solid plan. I too think about this a lot, then continue to not eat very well. Oops:
