It's really nice that you get to go home for a bit. I can imagine that being at home might help you relax and make the induction process less obnoxious and move a little quicker perhaps! Here's a gif of a cat licking a baby's feet.

I have done nothing since getting home. DH has been running around cleaning things. I am crampy but not too many contractions. Maybe it's working better this time than last time? I don't remember how quickly I got crampy last time.
ILs think they are going to visit us in the hospital within hours of the baby being born. No. You will not. MH told me not to tell them that we got sent home because they'd come over.

I don't know how to tell the difference between cramps and contractions. I am very #new.

I don't know how to tell the difference between cramps and contractions. I am very #new. This has also been my problem. FWIW, I seem to be able to make the cramps ease up by walking but the contractions continue, so maybe I've figured it out? Called in for my check-in and no one could take my call. Yikes. Hope it's not too busy later and I can still get a private room... I'm officially going back in for 9 tonight. We are now trying to decide what to do for dinner that will not potentially lead to any embarrassing IBS-related issues during delivery. WHY IS THIS MY LIFE.

I think we will go to the Mediterranean place we keep seeing. I am laughing at their website, though. They are very bougie.

I think I'm having contractions, not cramps? God damn, I don't know. They're not so bad that I can't handle them or anything, but definitely more noticeable. Maybe a 5 on a scale of 1 to 10? I'm bad with pain scales. I have a high pain tolerance. XD
I'll time them. I'm sitting in the car while MH gets Mediterranean takeout and we are going to eat in the car while I decide if I need to call L&D since they said to call and probably come back if you have frequent contractions.

Exciting! Even my pitocin contractions aren’t unbearable until I’m 6cm or so. Hopefully they are opening your cervix. FX

My experience was cramps which slowly turned to contractions too.
Hopefully the rest happens quickly!

Yay!! You are probably having regular early contractions mine were low pain until I hit transition, then there was absolutely no mistaking anything. Get that uterus working (After you get to eat your delicious dinner, of course).

I got to the hospital stupidly early so I'm wandering around. It feels like someone punched me in the vulva. Pretty sweet. That feeling is 10000000x worse than the contractions or cramps.

This doctor does not have small hands. JFC. She also couldn't find the Cervidil and said, "Geez, where is it? It's practically up beside your ears."
But she took the Cervidil out and she's going to break my water! 2-3 cm, which is way further than I got before they did this last time. They're not going to start pit until they see if breaking my water is enough to get things moving. Will hopefully get an epidural soon.
You can all hopefully wake up to a baby tomorrow!

Oh god. The anesthesiologist is busy for 2 hours with an emergency. Guys, I'm going to end up having to do this without meds again, aren't I?
Fuuuuck. Contractions are strong enough now that I am super uncomfortable (they haven't even broken my water yet).
Ugh. XD

misskilljoy you can do it! Though I totally understand not wanting to do it all natural again lol. I hope you are able to get the epidural sooner rather than later! ♡ At least you can start the bag of fluid so you'll be all set when the doctor can get to you?

I'm basically going to ask them to hold off on breaking my water until I get the epidural because everything went so fast last time. Meanwhile I'm still waiting for a delivery room because a woman came in 8 cm dilated, water broken, so it was that moment in Friends where the woman doesn't even make it to a bed, LOL. She came in moaning in pain, was 8cm, gone instantaneously.

That sounds like a good plan to me. Dang, that lady probably already has that baby in her arms.
