I had the most amazing crepe breakfast. We just hit the road a little while ago. Should be home around 8 or 9 after lunch and dinner stops.
We are already planning our next trip back here with the kids. Probably a long weekend in the summer.

I need to order lunch but I can't decide what I want. There are too many options and I'm too lazy to want to go to any of them. Jimmy John's is the only delivery option and i don't want that.

Hi! I called out sick from work. I really didn't want to, but I have to go drive to NY to pick up my mom because (of course) my brother came up with another excuse as to why he couldn't. So now I get to do a 6 hour drive with a cranky toddler, and then another 6 hour drive back with a cranky toddler and cranky old woman. This is stressing me out. My original plan was to leave work early tomorrow and just drive through the night, but....no. i need rest. Plus my car needs an oil change before I go anywhere. So I'm going to get that stuff done today and leave tomorrow. I really didn't want to burn the sick leave, but here we are. grr.

girlonabike— a 6 hour drive, especially one with a toddler definitely sounds stressful. I hope you’re able to get some rest and it goes as smoothly as possible.

Hi! I am ready for the weekend. Work is busy. The first baby was born on January 2018 yesterday which is crazy. I'm thinking we may try to go to a pumpkin patch this weekend.

And I have one of the earliest due dates on that board.

We are going to a Halloween event at the zoo. My parents are joining. That means I have to tell them I'm pregnant. I have no desire to have that discussion.

MH stayed home today. I got home from work and he’d cleaned the whole apartment! Mopped the floors, vacuumed and beat the rugs, changed 5e sheets on ours and Poppy’s beds, ran and unloaded the dishwasher, and just generally organized. It was so nice to come home to– he’s definitely a keeper!

We are having a great time with my parents. For dinner tonight the banished H and me to the dining room. They ate with the kids in the kitchen. Felt like we were on a date. My mom even put on music and lire a candle. We had a pretty cute waiter that was 4 ft tall who kept coming up check on us.

taketheshot enjoy the hell out of tomorrow!! Don't even worry about your mom. Some people just want to make comments. If she agreed to help, stay with that. They will enjoy having had that special time with A!

We went on a fun date night last night! We went to a charity evening called Taps and Apps. There were all local breweries/distilleries and local restaurants/caterers and you got tickets to have samples from the different vendors. There was also a young guy playing guitar and singing. It was a lot of fun! Just H and I! It's been a long time since we had a date night like that.

shellyr halloween event at the zoo sounds like fun! Can I ask why you are not looking forward to sharing your pregnancy? I have a challenging relationship with my mom. My dad is fantastic. Last time, my mom said some really annoying stuff like 'must have been a boring winter' and was not supportive when I was having early complications. I'd rather just hold my cards close to me when it comes to her. I told them on the way out the door.
