Josie went to bed with fever at 99.6, and woke up with fever at 99.6. Which I understand is not really a fever, but I don't know if I should send her to dance & school today. I'm leaning to skipping dance and giving her an extra hour to rest before I Motrin her up before preschool. I'm just hoping it doesn't jump over 100 because then I would keep her home, and that would make for a very long afternoon.

Yesterday, Josie and I were flipping through a magazine and saw a caramel apple bar. We decided we would make it for desssert, but I didn't have any caramel in the house, so instead of making both kids come with me to the grocery store, we went through the Burger King drive-through a few towns over and asked for a cup of caramel. The guy gave it to me, I paid, and then he looked at me really earnestly and said, "do you want a spoon with that?" Like I was going to eat a small size cup of caramel?!?

At work. I talked to my SIL about my parents offer and she thinks it could be a great thing. Her input was really what I needed so I think I'm going to give it a shot. I'm going to wait until the merge is complete and hope for some severance but I think come spring I'll be leaving my job. I'm starting to do some research about running your own business for some logistical things. Like an email with the company name in it? How the F do I get that? Anyone have any idea how you set up file sharing between 2 computers that are not in the same building?

guster I hope J's fever goes away. I'd give her Motrin and send her to school. I came into work at 7:15, need to leave at 8:45 to run home and get H to take to his post surgery appointment. He'll get his staples removed today. I didn't have that many emails, so I should have just stayed home this morning.

It's been better the last week, since he started taking Tramadol in between the Percocets. I have a feeling they won't renew his Percocet script, and I don't think the Tramadol will be enough for the pain level at this point. So it could be an interesting appointment. I'm trying to decide if I want to watch them remove the staples. The way the physical therapist described it, I'm not sure if it will make me sick to my stomach or not.

That's pretty genius to go to BK instead of the grocery store for caramel! Also, I hope J isn't sick!

When I was pregnant and taking my birthing techniques class at the hospital, they showed us a video of a C-Section. It was animated, not real, but I felt like I might throw up and had to look out the windows, I couldn't handle it. I know C-Section does not equal staple removal, but while I'm intrigued, I'm not sure my stomach can handle it. I might try to watch one and see how I do.

When I was pregnant with S I watched a couple of YouTube videos of c-sections. I know that’s weird, but it was interesting to me.

Morning! MIL is coming to pick up H in a couple of hours until 12:30, at which time I will put everyone in my car to take her to preschool. The new homegoods and carter’s stores open this morning so I’m planning to go check that out after MIL and H leave.

I skipped my run this morning because my back has been hurting. I've noticed on running days my sciatica flares up so I bought new running shoes hoping that helps. C woke up in a good mood, which was great because he was a hell beast last night. Work so far has been slow. Hopefully it picks up or this day will drag forever.

So Cadence's school is currently doing "penny wars" where they collect pennies that will then be donated to Lights of Love and Ronald McDonald House. I posted a flyer I quickly types up with a few pictures of Cadence and her class and put it on the bulletin board at work. Is that inappropriate? I mean, they are just pennies and it is for a good cause. And I want Cadence's class to win the ice cream party for most donated pennies. Should I leave it or take it down?

People always set out those boxes of chocolates in the break room that their kids had to sell. Seems normal to me. I think as long as you would chip in if it was someone elses kid and thats the kind of environment you have, you're fine.

Morning loves! guster I would Motrin and send her! Add me to the list of I like watching “gross” stuff. I think surgery/birth etc is so interesting. I would love to be able to watch a live birth or c section in person! Our dinner last night was super fun! These two girls are some of my favorite people in the world and even though we only see them about once a year we always just pick back up. Dh took today off work and we’re meeting up with the same friends at the lake to go paddle boarding and kayaking.

For email, honestly, he just uses a gmail, but you can purchase an email address for pretty cheap. As to file sharing, look into dropbox. It's super easy, and you can access the files from a computer, or even from your phone if you are not near a computer. We both already had it, but I believe it is free if you don't go over a certain amount/size of files.

I was so mad they didn't offer me a mirror during my birth with Josie, and then I totally forgot with Charlie bc he came so fast.

MH took a couple of pictures right when the boys were born and I was still open. I have zoomed in to see my insides... I thought it was pretty cool. I do not have a quesy stomach about that sort of stuff. But, when I had my laser eye surgery, they let him watch it from a monitor in the waiting room. For some reason he videoed it. I can not watch it. S loves to watch it, which totally creeps me out!

It depends on your HR policies. Here we cannot do that but other places I've worked it has been fine.
