Drinking coffee, DD is watching Paw Patrol. I was going to finish up the front garden but it's raining just barely enough to keep me from going outside.
I'm feeling a lot more movement, I had an anterior placenta with DD and didn't start feeling her until around 22-24 weeks. I'm also feeling very uncomfortable in the area below my belly button, I'm ok if I'm sitting down but it seems to get worse if I've been on my feet a lot. I don't know how to describe except it feels like heavy pressure.
ETA Because I hit post too quick.

Tuesday is coming to a close here, and it was a good day! Now that we're settled in our temporary apartment and have our things safe in storage, I feel a lot better. DS has adjusted well to the new place, and I can regularly feel the baby kicking now, which is reassuring. DH has his first house hunting appointments tomorrow morning, so fingers crossed he comes across something that fits all of our requirements and has some "nice to have" things on my list. August Blooms - I know exactly what you mean about the heaviness/pressure feeling in the lower abdomen - that is exactly how I would describe it too. I feel it when I am sitting/laying down, but it gets worse when I stand. I think mine is attributed to my endometriosis and the large SCH I have sitting at the bottom of my uterus. I am sure you are fine and don't have the complications that I do, but I commiserate with the uncomfortable feeling. No fun.

Morning all. Back to the grind today after nearly two weeks of being out of the office due to travel and the holiday. I have SO much to catch up on, so hopefully the day will fly by. I'm not sure if I mentioned that I got contacts at my eye appointment last week. They are an adjustment to say the least. I struggle with putting them in everyday and then I feel like I can tell they are there, almost like maybe something is on the contact. Super frustrating.
But, at least it's not Monday and for that I am thankful!

August Blooms, I've had some pressure type feelings down low, too. Saturday morning I was feeling so much pressure I was pretty uncomfortable, but it did ease up over time and I didn't really notice it after mid-day Saturday. I'd say it is likely normal, but you could call your OB if you're concerned about it. Taitai good luck on the house hunt! I hope he finds something quickly for you all. I'll be glad for you when this ordeal is over! thatgirlrachel, is this the first time you've worn contacts? I remember when I first got mine many many years ago, they told me that my eyelids would adjust and build a tiny callous-type-thing as the lid gets used to blinking with the contact over your eye. Hang in there, I'm sure it'll get better with time!

I joined. I have an appointment today, regular OB, and just trying to get some work done before I have to go. August Blooms, I am actually having the same feeling I think. It's heavy or sore or pressure. I am not entirely sure. I have anterior placenta. But I've been feeling some movement I think! It's ok to just feel movement on one side, right? I'm pretty sure it's baby's hands since it's down low. The a/s showed her legs up top.

My 2 year old woke up at midnight puking everywhere. I barely slept and am so tired of cleaning carpets and sheets and puke off him. I bed to run to the store to get more cleaner. Plus I have to work. Meetings from noon - 5. Awesome.
Why do kids always start puking at midnight? Why not the morning?
Waaaaaaahhhhhh

Hope you can get some rest and little one feels better.

3 nights in a row DS has had 3ish hour wake-ups. I guess he was adjusting too well to sharing a room and living with Grammys and Grampys

I feel like garbage today, which is odd because I got a full nights sleep without waking up at 3am. Trying to get motivated to do some actual work.
I really want a snow cone. I craved one yesterday and it was closed due to rain. Boooo

rebeccabunch Ughhh sorry about the puking and rough night! Your kids have a nanny right? Hope you're not having to scramble for alternate childcare on top of everything else. FX you can relax tonight after your meetings. trinitrotoluene Also sorry about all the wakeups. How old is your DS? I feel sluggish and not super motivated at work today. We had sun all weekend and now it's raining again so I think that's part of it. This weather blows. I was all excited to wear the new maternity shorts I bought but it's freezing. On the positive side, it's already Tuesday and I'm about to have a phone call with work people in Hawaii and they always have this nice mahalo vibe you can practically feel through the phone.

All these sick kiddos need to get it together.
My friend spent her 3 day weekend dealing with her toddler and norovirus. Yuck.

codex320 With DD and my anterior placenta I felt movement low and to the sides initially. I'm glad I'm not the only one having this feeling, I don't remember it with my last pregnancy. If it gets worse then I'm definitely checking in with my midwives. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I'm the opposite of Mahalo vibe right now. I need some of that! I do have a nanny but I'm acting like I'm the CDC and that this is a CDC required situation so I'm hovering, making the food etc because I trust my hand washing skills. This is irrational but I fear if I get it, it will be a miscarriage risk. That's probably not true and I am not googling it.

Hola mi amigas. South Dakota is pretty good, it's windy AF which makes things just a tad chilly but so far it's awesome to see everyone.
We just got checked into our hotel for the next few days and H is already causing issues. We were in the elevator coming down from our room to grab our bags. On the way back up this happened:
"Someone farted in here" (my H has 0 sense of smell)
H looks at me with deadpan eyes.
"...it stinks. Assholes"
H: "It wasn't supposed to linger"
Thanks honey.

Trying to motivate myself to dust, sweep, and mop. All before DD wakes up. I cleaned the kitchen and then sat down and haven't moved since

cythe, I'm ded. Do we share an H? CoachTsWife, Yes, this is my first time ever. I have horrible allergies, esp eye allergies, so I have always been hesitant to try them. But I don't wear my glasses like I should so here I am. I'm going to keep working with them to see if I get the hang of it, and get my doctor's thoughts at my follow-up on Friday. Thanks for the motivation!

mkrupar looking good w your new avatar! Thanks! Finally made it on a computer. A League of Their Own is probably my favorite movie. Fun fact. When DD was little and would cry for no reason, my go to line to her was "there's no crying in baseball!" Love that movie.

Started summer babysitting this morning. 4am is so early, too early for this lady. Hoping it gets easier quickly. Thankfully DS has been sleeping better the last few nights!
