How far along are you? Appointments coming up? How are you feeling? Any updates/interesting tidbits from recent appointments? QOTW: What are you most looking forward to on maternity leave that isn't baby related? Binge watching shows, hopefully napping when baby naps, time to be productive, etc. **** I added pregnancy to the check in since ladies are starting to have babies **** There should probably be a separate check in for that

How far along are you? 36 weeks Wednesday
Appointments coming up? I have an appointment this afternoon with the lovely gbs swab. I'm getting dh to come along so I can ask some questions about the rcs since it is getting so close. I'm bad at remembering things correctly or at all when excited/anxious.
How are you feeling? Good, just large and uncomfortable. I did have some contractions Friday but nothing since.
Any updates/interesting tidbits from recent appointments? Will update but I don't expect much other than to be switched to weekly visits now.
QOTW: What are you most looking forward to on maternity leave that isn't baby related? Binge watching shows, hopefully napping when baby naps, time to be productive, etc. I'm looking forward to time with dd. Hopefully, the baby will sleep some and we can have some time together without me being exhausted. Wishful thinking but hey it could happen.

How far along are you? 34 weeks tomorrow Appointments coming up? ultrasound, NST and check up tomorrow AM How are you feeling? restless, crampy, moody AF and stretched out Any updates/interesting tidbits from recent appointments? I was given two steroid shots last week and put on Procardia due to increased contractions, thinning, dilating so on... The Procardia makes me a raging B with zero energy or give a fucks. I hate it, but I am sure that DW hates it more. lol QOTW: What are you most looking forward to on maternity leave that isn't baby related? Binge watching shows, hopefully napping when baby naps, time to be productive, etc. Being off over the Holidays and able to enjoy them without work stress!!!!

How far along are you?
35w2d
Appointments coming up? My usual Thursday routine plus a cervical check and steroid shot.
How are you feeling?
I was feeling really good Saturday, but it all caught up with me yesterday. It feels like my center of gravity is focused completely on my pelvis, I could hardly put on my pants this morning. I also just kind of want to cry all of the time.
Any updates/interesting tidbits from recent appointments?
Baby girl is allegedly huge and my fluid appears to have increased.
QOTW: What are you most looking forward to on maternity leave that isn't baby related? Binge watching shows, hopefully napping when baby naps, time to be productive, etc. Hopefully, just being able to move around like a normal human being again. DH will be home until January, I've got two other kids, and we'll have lots of guests so I'm not really sure how chill things will be around here after she's born.

How far along are you? 34w 3d
Appointments coming up? Not til next week
How are you feeling?
Good. Lots of contractions but nothing productive and peeing so so much. But all in all great for being close to the end.
Any updates/interesting tidbits from recent appointments?
I haven't put on any extra weight in over a month. Baby is 5lbs and healthy so I'm not complaining.
QOTW: What are you most looking forward to on maternity leave that isn't baby related? Binge watching shows, hopefully napping when baby naps, time to be productive, etc.
I SAH and H works from home so no change here. I'm just really excited to drink wine during the holidays.

AnnPerkins, I feel ya on the crying thing. I can't control it anymore. This morning at daycare drop off DS1 was so nervous and sad and I lost my shit. I think I was crying harder than him. I am ready for that to be done!

How far along are you? 35w2d (what?!?!)
Appointments coming up? OB on Friday. I thought it was supposed to just be a quick one but now I am wondering if he'll want me to do an NST. I have a meeting at work that day so I might have to ask to bump it to early next week if he wants it done.
How are you feeling? I would be better if I would stop peeing my pants and this kid wasn't dropped directly onto my pelvis. I am feeling very "nesty" as well.
Any updates/interesting tidbits from recent appointments? Baby is healthy and already over a pound heavier than DS1 was so we're good here.
QOTW: What are you most looking forward to on maternity leave that isn't baby related? Binge watching shows, hopefully napping when baby naps, time to be productive, etc. Not peeing my pants, eating whatever I want, drinking the wine, and possibly taking a trip to Florida with everyone towards the end of my leave. H will be home for 16 weeks so it will be nice to have the ability to have some "me" time in addition to baby time.

How far along are you? 37 weeks on Thursday
Appointments coming up? Appointment on Thursday - most likely a NST.
How are you feeling? I'm feeling pretty good. Some contractions, lots of swelling, super tired because I sleep like crap but all in all pretty good.
Any updates/interesting tidbits from recent appointments? I had an u/s at my appointment last week and baby is transverse but the interesting part is that baby is transverse with her head on my right side - two weeks before that, she was transverse with her head on my left side. She did a complete flip. I'm doing a RCS so not too concerned about the transverse part at all.
QOTW: What are you most looking forward to on maternity leave that isn't baby related? Binge watching shows, hopefully napping when baby naps, time to be productive, etc. H will be home for most of the month of November so I'm looking forward to sleeping - handing baby to him and sleeping.

How far along are you? 36+2
Appointments coming up? Regular OB appt Wednesday morning, growth scan on Thursday.
How are you feeling? Okay. I actually slept okay the last couple nights- maybe because I'm not stressed about work! I am just uncomfortable. I can't sit down for too long, can't stand for too long, can't wait for too long. But the SPD hasn't really gotten worse which is great.
Any updates/interesting tidbits from recent appointments? I have gotten my flu and Tdap, and did GBS swab last week. No result visible yet. I was positive last time. My BP increased slightly last appt, but all labs were normal except for urine protein which was just a bit higher than normal level. I expect to have more labs done this week.
QOTW: What are you most looking forward to on maternity leave that isn't baby related? Binge watching shows, hopefully napping when baby naps, time to be productive, etc.
For now I am trying to enjoy reading while also getting some last minute things done. After baby: mainly just being able to enjoy the holidays with family, not working. And we have a Disneyland trip scheduled for end of January for DD's 4th bday!

Appointments coming up? swab and cervical check next week
How are you feeling? ok. lots of aches and pains and my hip has been hurting from sleeping on my side and I am just exhausted all of the time but other than that not terrible.
Any updates/interesting tidbits from recent appointments? Not really
QOTW: What are you most looking forward to on maternity leave that isn't baby related? Binge watching shows, hopefully napping when baby naps, time to be productive, etc. - Just time off really. I am hopeful that I will be able to get some things around the house done.

How far along are you? 36w4d
Appointments coming up? Wednesday with a cervical check and GBS
How are you feeling? Pretty good. I think this baby is getting lower, but my reflux isn’t letting up.
Any updates/interesting tidbits from recent appointments? Only that baby’s kidney scans show still measuring ahead, but it is apparently they marginally larger and hopefully won’t be an issue.
QOTW: What are you most looking forward to on maternity leave that isn't baby related? Binge watching shows, hopefully napping when baby naps, time to be productive, etc. I’ve been home now for a year and I’m not looking forward to working with a newborn and trying to find our new balance. The baby and kids are the only part I am looking forward to.

How far along are you? 37+1
Appointments coming up? Well I'm being induced tomorrow... if that counts!
How are you feeling? Nervous and just want everything to quick and smoothly
Any updates/interesting tidbits from recent appointments? Growth scan today showed DD at 9lbs, hence the decision to induce tomorrow
QOTW: What are you most looking forward to on maternity leave that isn't baby related? Binge watching shows, hopefully napping when baby naps, time to be productive, etc.
I literally can't think of Anything not baby related haha. Mind is at a blank!

How far along are you? 36w3d Appointments coming up? Every Friday from now until I have the baby. How are you feeling? Big, pregnant. My whole pelvis is starting to get sore by the end of the day. Also my fingers are swollen and when I wake up in the mornings they are stiff. Any updates/interesting tidbits from recent appointments? GBS negative! Phew. Also my fundal height is measuring at 39 cm QOTW: What are you most looking forward to on maternity leave that isn't baby related? Naps for sure. Also my sister is coming to visit for 2 weeks so I'm looking forward to spending some time with her.

How far along are you? 36w6d Appointments coming up? Just got back from one. How are you feeling? Pretty good, I slept better last night. Starting to get some serious downward pressure. Any updates/interesting tidbits from recent appointments? MW is going to send me for an ultrasound to double check on the baby's position. She's pretty sure she's head down, but not 100%. You think she would have sent me two weeks ago, but whatever. Otherwise things are good, BP is low, measuring on target. QOTW: What are you most looking forward to on maternity leave that isn't baby related? Binge watching shows, hopefully napping when baby naps, time to be productive, etc. Not working Christmas will be fun I think.

doxiemama, the joints in my fingers are SO stiff every morning and actually pretty much all day long. They loosen a little throughout the day but not much. Sorry you have that too, it sucks.

How far along are you? 35w1d
Appointments coming up? Tomorrow OB check up
How are you feeling? Starting to feel anxious about having a 2nd, why am I getting just as nervous if not more than I did with my first?!
Any updates/interesting tidbits from recent appointments? Not as of today
QOTW: What are you most looking forward to on maternity leave that isn't baby related? Binge watching shows, hopefully napping when baby naps, time to be productive, etc. Hoping to decompress a little from work. It has been stressful since we have been growing and so busy.

How far along are you? 35+2
Appointments coming up? Thursday for my GBS and a cervical check. My cervix better be doing something.
How are you feeling? Fucking pregnant. I'm exhausted and hurt all over and also just want to cry constantly.
Any updates/interesting tidbits from recent appointments? I'm going tomorrow to central offices with one of my besties who teaches in the same building as me. She managed to use our sick bank with her last pregnancy and she's going to be my rational half while I basically plead for additional paid time off beyond my accrued 27.5 days. My principal alluded to covering me the rest of the way to my six weeks, but still, I'm not going back at six weeks and I'd be a lot more secure if I was getting a pay check during that time.
QOTW: What are you most looking forward to on maternity leave that isn't baby related? Binge watching shows, hopefully napping when baby naps, time to be productive, etc.
The harpoon pumpkin cider sitting in my pantry waiting for me. It stares me down every time I go in there. I want to drink you!

How far along are you? 37+4 Appointments coming up? Friday I think. Weekly visits. Asks me how I feel, I tell him awful. He tells me to hang in, measure, listen to heartbeat and away I go. Lol How are you feeling? done tired. Exhausted. Contraction/BH often. Can barely walk my son to the bus without being out of breath. Any updates/interesting tidbits from recent appointments? Nope. My doctor did say we can think about inducing a bit earlier than normal just because I want an epidural and my BIL is on call the week where they normall would induce so then either he has to call in a colleague to do it or I can't get one. QOTW: What are you most looking forward to on maternity leave that isn't baby related? Binge watching shows, hopefully napping when baby naps, time to be productive, etc. Not sure. lol. I'm off work already. They monopolize the tv and DD won't nap anymore. Lol. Im screwed. Read more: howeverithappened.proboards.com/thread/7653/weekly-pregnancy-check-10-16?page=1#ixzz4vhipJPLt

How far along are you? 37+3
Appointments coming up? Tomorrow late afternoon.
How are you feeling? Good, just uncomfortable and emotional. Life feels overwhelming right now.
Any updates/interesting tidbits from recent appointments? Nope, she gave me the option of a cervical check last week. I declined but I'll probably let her tomorrow.
QOTW: What are you most looking forward to on maternity leave that isn't baby related? Binge watching shows, hopefully napping when baby naps, time to be productive, etc. I'm a SAHM so I'm not sure a whole lot will change besides adding a LO to the mix. I may find some shows to entertain myself during MOTN feedings.

Ohhhh yes cnf thank you for reminding me. How could I forget? I've been thinking of the bottle of Apothic Inferno sitting in the bar. And wine in general. And a margarita on the rocks with salt.

How far along are you? 35w3d
Appointments coming up? Nothing this week. Next week Wednesday I start weekly appointments.
How are you feeling? I’m okay. Achy, emotional, and sick of peeing every 30 mins.
Any updates/interesting tidbits from recent appointments? Baby is head down but was sunny side up. My MW gave me some exercises to do to try to get him facing the right way before he engages. Also my BP was a bit higher but completely normal when she rechecked it.
QOTW: What are you most looking forward to on maternity leave that isn't baby related? Not working. Enjoying the holidays. Drinking. Maybe organizing our house more since we still haven’t completely settled in since moving at the end of August.

How far along are you? 37+3
Appointments coming up? Ultrasound on Wednesday at 10:30, NST and bloodwork on Thursday, evaluation post-tests, then induction on Saturday.
How are you feeling? A little overwhelmed! So much movement today that I am wondering how on earth my water didn't break, haha. Tons of heartburn lately. My pelvis constantly feels like someone whacked me with a sledgehammer.
Any updates/interesting tidbits from recent appointments? Nothing that I haven't shared, I don't think.
QOTW: What are you most looking forward to on maternity leave that isn't baby related? Definitely binge watching some Netflix. I have a few shows I'd like to check out. And being able to go shopping for things like groceries when the stores aren't busy!
Bonus baby-related excitement: I have three friends who are pregnant - one due in December, another in April, another in May - so I am looking forward to having some mat leave buddies.

A little awkward I guess. He doesn't really like to treat family with that sort of thing. I think if it was an emergency situation and he was the only one there, he would. But he would rather not be involved. In case things don't go well or whatever. I'd trust him 100% but he'd prefer not too.

He would officially be off my holiday invite list if he did that to me. Actually, he would probably just be dead to me all together.

I'm not sure. 🤷🏼♀️ He is on call this week too and found colleagues to cover for him if I did go into labour. He said he couldn't find someone for two days so he just wanted me to know just in case I wanted to go to the other hospital. It doesn't bother me that he doesn't want to. I don't want him uncomfortable with it either. It's also a matter of if he's allowed legally to do it I think. It's a grey area in medicine.
