I'm officially off daily coffee, but I am eating a slammin' bowl of oatmeal with my kids. They're watching a Danny Macaskill video on YouTube.

Local dark roast, as per usual. My allergies are trying to kill me and the girls are both fighting off something, so everyone is edgy

I'm brewing a pot of Folgers. Although I feel amazing already because I got a 4.5 hour stretch of sleep last night! Yay for REM cycles! It's been awhile since I've had that. Thank you M, for sleeping like a champ while you're sick.

Dunkin’ Donuts coffee in the French press at home. We gave up daytime bottles yesterday (milk in sippy instead) and the girls have been refusing their 2nd nap. E was up 3 times and A twice, of course not at the same times either.

Homemade caramel macchiato as usual and a granola bar for breakfast since I needed something quick to take to the office.

Local black while I stand next to my counter veeeerrrrryyyy slowly getting ready to go out. The kids are more likely to leave me alone if they think that I'm working on something. So they're playing "nap time at daycare" that involves M yelling at C a lot to "just LAY DOWN!!" while C does everything else and occasionally tosses in a momentary lay down on the nap mat to keep M interested in the game. Whenever they come over I give them a piece of the cheese and sausage that I'm cutting up for snack.

I'm eating a fresh NY bagel and drinking green mountain brew with vanilla coconut milk creamer. In the living room watching the baby roll around while R eats at the table with our house guests.

Soy latte made with Lavazza and sugar because I'm out of honey. Made the mistake of toasting a piece of the yummy roasted garlic artisan bread I bought yesterday and now I have garlic breath at 9am...

I had hot chocolate, and the kiosk was down at the convenience bar at work, so I'm caffeineless until lunch.

L and I are at my parents' house. They made me a coffee with their Nespresso, which I think makes really tasty coffee. I'm still suffering from a cold so I'm groggy and will be drinking as many hot drinks as I can today 😔

Did I mention that I ditched coffee for this whole30? Kinda regretting that now that it's so cold in the mornings. I had tea.

Well about a half hour after the delicious oatmeal, I came down with a stomach bug.
And now I want to cry.
Is it naptime yet?!?

It was oddly freezing today. But yes, for them. Hope A gets home soon with ginger ale and you go right to bed.

How bullshit is it that when my husband is sick, he can leave work and come home to sleep. If he does a good job hiding, he can even be left alone.
When I am sick, I have to ask him to leave work. And look! It's 5pm! He is on his way. He'll be a whopping 45 minutes early. What a partner. Thank goodness I'll get a 45 minute reprieve from running to the bathroom between diaper changes and snack requests.

I said, "The kids want to go for a walk, so just go to CVS with them, you can grab it and a box of mac and cheese for dinner, it'll be easy." "Oh," he said, "I don't like going in CVS with them. They never want to leave and they try to talk me into buying candy." GUYS CALL A SURGEON BECAUSE MY EYES ROLLED OUT OF MY HEAD SO HARD THEY CAME UNATTACHED.
