I don't know the specific fries you speak of, but I love fries with vinegar, so I'm on board!

I’ll be happy for Friday. The end of this solo parenting thing for another few weeks.
So random, I decided to start potty training DS this past weekend. I ditched diapers and let him pick out underwear. He of course chose paw patrol, and couldn’t be more proud of them. Only 2 accidents Sat, 1 Sunday, and none today. Daycare is closed this week, so the kids are at the ILs. My MIL had the kids out for a walk today and DS said he had to pee. She booked it home with him, put him on the potty and he peed. He actually held it. I’m so close to the end of diapers!!!

We are off Friday too! Even the teachers.
Speaking of potty training, E is already telling me he wants underwear with tractors on them. I feel like I better start looking now. This comes up pretty often in conversation with him!

Leave it to us to wait until the frost advisory of the year to test our heater and realize the fan won't turn on automatically. So, we turned it up to 74 and then shut it down in hopes that it will be in the mid 60's inside at wake up.

On the subject of potty training, I was not really doing anything with M in this area, except having him pee in the potty cup (he refused to sit, but would pee in the cup standing) before bath time. But I put the potty away in preparation for selling the house. Yesterday M found the potty in his closet and took it out, so I was like 'let's give a shot' and took his diaper and pants off. It.....did not go well. lol. Small little puddles everywhere, and DH was stupid uncomfortable with it. I don't think M is really ready, but I bought a ring insert for the toilet and a step stool on amazon. I've also asked if they want to see about offering the potty to M at daycare, now that he has settled in there. I know it's a total pipe dream, but I would love it if he could be trained before we move the end of January. If not, I'm sure we will have to wait until spring (we plan to tackle transitioning to a regular bed when we move...rip the bandaid off so to speak...new room/bed at the same time).
Tl/dr I'm envious of the A15 babies that are toilet trained (or showing readiness).

redandblue same! DD acts like the toilet is about to murder her. She’s terrified of it lol. We had the ring but I’m going to have to buy a small potty and see if that is not as scary for her.

CestLaVie they a funny beings these little toddlers! M is opposite, and refused to sit on the small potty, it's almost like it's too small. That's why I'm hoping the ring insert may be more exciting for him. Oh well, they won't still be in diapers when they are teenagers! Lol

Hi! Follow up anatomy scan this morning for the bits that they didn't get a good look at last time. Once she finally cooperated, they finally got to see everything and things look normal. I have been suffering bouts of vertigo all day and its super annoying. Made a carrot cake from scratch for hubby since he took off work today to go with me to go the scan. Delicious.

This is us too. Someone at my early childhood class said their kid did like the feeling of legs dangling and a stool helped them

They have real potties at daycare, but they are low to the ground so maybe I'll break out the small potty for her and let her take the lead. I'm not ready to formally train until after a trip in November.
