Hi, all. Just jumping in here... I have lurked for a long time and tried to participate here and there but it never lasted long lol. I am home on maternity leave now through September (I work in a school) so hoping I'll be more active.
It is cold and rainy here today... the weather has sucked and I really need it to not because poor DS (almost 3) is losing his mind being cooped up all the time. Trying to decide if I'm brave enough for a Target trip with both kids by myself later. Exciting times. 😂

I have a baby barnacle right now too, and I had to drop him off at the backup daycare today because my nanny is off. The ensuing meltdown always kills me in the mom guilt department.

Trying to garden and plant with a crazy 3 year old all over the place is so impossible!
We were out front and my neighbour was planting at the same time. DD starts talking to her "So Mickey..." I told her it was Vickie not Mickey.
Then she says "Oh, ok Ickie..." L O Freaking L. Still can't say some letters 😅

Ee I have set A for 6 years now and they still look great. They also make the plates in colors and Christmas prints, so it's great if you want to swap some out to dress up your table for a dinner party or the holidays. The Christmas plates and mugs are already in my shopping cart 😬😬 Glad to hear they've held up well for you! |

I had to turn my neighbors in to the city. They haven't mowed all year. There used to be people in and out all the time because they had a band that practiced in their basement, but there is barely ever any movement. They aren't friendly toward anyone (Lord knows DH tried) so offering help would not go over well.

So this is stupid but since I'm home with a sick kid and stuck in front of my computer for work, I was on FB and apparently there's some FB page for our town that I'm blocked from. I have no idea why, I don't know the admins or anything.
It's bothering me more than it probably should be. But I was told this was the FB page to read to know about things going on in town. I want to know who I pissed off to be blocked from it.

I've gone to Walmart, done two loads of laundry and one of dishes, bleached the kitchen since H cooked dinner last night and made a huge mess, made radish pickles, and cast a new blanket on my knitting needles.
It's amazing how much more energy I have since I found an iron supplement that works and I'm not anemic anymore!

I finally haggled myself a good deal on all new appliances for my kitchen! Thank god for email because I hate doing that stuff face to face. The best part is that we can get our new fridge now, and then they will hold all the others until we do our renovation in September. I have MUCH EXCITE about this.

They sound great. Yeah. It's 3(?) older guys (all retirement age). There used to be another that did all of the yardwork but the other pissed him off because they wouldn't help with any of the outdoor stuff and were starting to slack on the indoor stuff, so he moved out. There are only 2 vehicles at the house now, and I never see the cat anymore, so I assume the guy with the cat left too. So maybe only 2? |

One of the admin is a woman who owned a small business here and I actually shopped there a few times. I can't think of a single incident that would have led her to block me. She's friendly with my sister, I only went to her business with my sister. |

I think admin can get messages even if you aren't friends with them. You should be able to send a message but I'm not 100% sure. |
