My baby is in a clingy phase too and it's exhausting littlechevy. I feel really mean right now actually because she's fussing for me to go get her from her crib but I'm trying to get better at putting on my own air mask first since I'm solo parenting M-F now that H's commute is so long. I need to use the bathroom and get dressed! I am worthy of these tasks. |

The cotton tree in my yard is going to kill me. In other news our pool is open but it's too cold to swim and it will be for at least a week or two.

Happy Tuesday-Monday.
I'm dragging today. This weekend we purged the hell out of our storage closet, went to a friend's funeral, and had DD's birthday, then I had to rush her off to summer camp and come back to work this morning. Not. Enough. Coffee.

One of the guys at work is treating me like I'm an idiot. This whole "keep working" thing may not be a good idea. Sure, the money is nice, but fuck these guys.

I have 2 phone interviews today. I'm just hoping one of these pans out because my last few interviews were terrible experiences (the companies were fishy). Both of these are well known places, but I'm really trying not to get my hopes up. I need to get out of the house and back to work for my mental well being. Job hunting after staying home is more difficult than I imagined.

I found out today if I got the position I interviewed for...AHHH, I hate the hurry up and wait process. Keeping my fingers crossed for you! I hate the waiting game...so I hope they call this morning. |

DD slept a solid 11 hours last night, and I slept 9 1/2 of those. Thank goodness cuz she was a little terror at bedtime last night.
Having MH home on a Monday totally threw me off. I have to work today, but I sure could use a chill day at home instead.

Last night in my dream I had become a planner person. I woke up wondering if I should dare to enter the planner thread and buy myself a new planner.
Of course, I also dreamt that I was consulting with Hollywood stars and DC politicians, so it wasn't that realistic of a dream.

Seems like most of us are having rough mornings. DS woke up crying this morning because he feels like crap still. Poor kid is miserable. My mom is going to watch him today so of course DD was upset because he gets the day with grandma and she has to go to school. I'm hoping she doesn't end up with it because we have her Pre-K graduation Friday night. I have a feeling this is going to be a long week.

I also have a baby barnacle. It's so exhausting. I try to sneak out of the room to go to the bathroom, and she's like lolno, and two seconds later I hear her coming down the hallway so she can reattach herself to me. Omg, barnacle is the perfect term. DD1 is a total barnacle. I may have to start calling her Barney. |

Good morning! We're visiting my ILs and they keep it so cold in their house. I'm currently huddled under a blanket trying not to think about the enormous amount of work I have awaiting when we get back.
