Some salads are really good! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Ummmm. Like if you put apples, and cranberries, and some partisan cheese crisps, dried apricot, walnuts, blue cheese, etc. But then are you really eating a salad at that point or just a bunch of deliciousness with some leaves thrown in. Do you crave salads coconutbacon? This made me LOL... I like and crave salads... sometimes even just a simple Caesar salad hits the spot. My favorite is a spring mix with cucumber (thinly sliced), Gorgonzola, Avocado and a balsamic vinaigrette. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

lemon200, that's frustrating. I am impressed that E was just chilling watching Peppa though. If I am even half dozing with P, she will poke at me and say "up! Up!" and she'll physically open my eyelids if they re closed. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Adorable.

easternshoregirl, Just read the update to the progesterone saga. I'm so sorry this is so much of a hassle. Have you tried the red suppositories? It's possible that it's just the outside coating that is red and you might not see it all that much as it dissolves. I would think that the inside is almost surely white. Could you cut one open to see? Or dissolve it in a cup of warm water?

Front porch is being rebuilt. It is effing loud in this house and I have 2 girls TRYING to take a nap. SO ANNOYED. I know they can't help how loud they are but don't mess with naptime!!!! Wish I had seen this. I just dealt with it. Turn on as many fans as you have around the nursery. It's like the most white noise possible. I had them going in the hallways and the guestroom that shares a wall. He slept right through all the work. Granted he is used to sleeping through some construction but this was right under his window and he stayed asleep.

When A says "no" -- which, let's face it, I hear a lot out of him -- I swear to god he says it with a British accent. It's going to be very interesting to see what kind of fucked up accent these two end up developing before they start school. I supposedly had a Brooklyn accent when I was rounder because I couldn't pronounce my "r" sounds. Everyone would ask my mom when we had moved to Seattle and she would be like "we've always lived here we don't know why sounds like that" 😂

jedi keep on them. I know it's hard and time consuming because I've had to do this as well but you as the mother are much more of an invested pita than anyone else. They don't want to pay Fuck them they have to. And you let them know that. I know it's hard but try to put time aside to call.

Is it a northern thing to give $$ at the wedding? We do gifts at showers and then if you didn't go/get a shower gift, you take one to the wedding from the registry. #regional? +1 +however many. I would not feel bad about giving $200. That is wayyy more than I would probably spend on a wedding gift.

Good to know, thanks. I clearly don't deal with poison ivy often. I have only recently learned this information. Our neighbors have a lot of overgrown stuff that ends up on our side of the fence. FIL always showers immediately after yardwork and changes clothes (he goes to his home for a this) because we know there is poison in the stuff. H has started the same routine so things don't pass on to the kids. We use tecnu (sp?) before on h, afterwards in the shower on both of us, and it can even be out in the wash with the work clothes. Hell you can even wash your tools and gloves with it. H is extremely allergic to poison ivy s and the like so we have to be super careful.

skinandbones I'm so sorry you're feeling that way. I know you said you've taken on a lot/been given a lot and not gotten the support or help you were promised. I was in a situation like that once and h said something that helped. They have put you in a situation where things are going to fall apart. They haven't set you up for success and that is on them. Do not let it make you think you are not doing the best Job that you can with the resources and time available. Something like that. But if they are overworking you (which it sounds like they are) and not giving you the support you need (which it sounds like they're not) then it is not on you to do allllllllllll of the things. Do what you can. You do not break all the things you touch. I'm really sorry you're having a such a hard time at work. I know you take a lot of pride in what you do and how you help people. Big hugs. I hope it gets better soon.

My Mil makes really good salads. But I always wonder if there are people who like salads. Like when they wake up in the morning they think "I could really go for a salad". Some salads are really good! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Yeah the ones with mostly not leaves. 😉

Ta-da! It's not terrible. Would be better without all that pesky lettuce. See that does look delicious and I agree it should have about 30‰ less lettuce. Lol

Speaking of true crime (kind of) Canada ladies, have you heard of the Barbie and Ken killers from the 1990s? I got totally sucked into the story of the woman two nights ago and watched this documentary about her. She helped her husband rape and kill three teenaged girls and struck this insane deal where she only served 12 years and now she is out and has three kids and volunteers at their elementary school. It's crazy. Karla Holmolka and the deal win the devil! They gave her this deal before the video came to light of her actually participating in the murders. She's been in the news since she volunteers at her kids elementary school in Montreal!!! So wtf Yup. She's in my area. NBD..............

Is this a paid gig? How does it work? Volunteer. You get advanced readers copies before they come out for free so you can get reviews on goodreads for it. The thing I've discovered about myself is I don't really care about being the first to read something. I'd rather wait until something becomes popular and there's a good chance it's decent before investing time lol.
