Morning! S has a follow up appt for her EI, yesterday was day 10 of antibiotics so I want to make sure it’s gone. She’s still crabby and I don’t know if it’s all toddlering or if her ears still hurt. It’s 27 degrees outside right now and it’s supposed to get to 60 today so hopefully we can hit up the park this afternoon. Sleep training kind of went haywire MOTN. She woke up like 4 times and the last time we finally just gave in and let her come into our bed. H slept through it all or at least pretended to. Sleep training sucks. I swear they can sense it and get worse so you just fold. Toddlers man. I keep telling DH once we get in the house it'll be a few weeks of sleep training hell to get Jack in his own bed but we have to just push through. God willing, he takes to it easily. Thanks for the commiseration. I feel lots of regrets about how I’ve handled certain things but I just have to work with what I’ve got. I really wish we could get our basement finished so she could have her own room, but that won’t happen for a while. I need to just be consistent and do it. I actually ordered a memory foam mattress topper for the crib mattress hoping it will simulate our bed and she will stay in there and sleep. It should be here today, fx it works.

peachsmama Yes, she's a week from surgery and said they're still super swollen. Her follow up appt was Monday and she was told she has to start pushing the implants down. From the pic she sent me, I don't know where she is supposed to push them! She's also has a pretty small frame, I would guess she's a size 2, maybe a 4 and got large D's, or 545cc's. Push them down? I've never heard of someone needing to do that....

I know we have several boys that love dinosaurs...but are there any other girls that are dinosaur lovers? S loves dinosaurs...I think it stems from Peppa. She loves George and his dinosaur. My girl may not say a lot...but she says “din-saur ... rawrrrr” about 492 x a day. Lol. So I bought her this adorable outfit at Target. You don’t see many “girly” dinosaur stuff so I thought I’d share in case any others have a dinosaur infatuation. It’s Cat and Jack.

I can't buy Cadence sets anymore since she is 2 different sizes, but every time I see it, I contemplate buying it. There is also a cute dress with a similar pattern.

Good morning girls!
Tgrimes suggested I give an update on the state of my uterus so here I am!
I slept from about 12-6 with minimal contractions and woke up feeling ok. But within an hour, I'm back to contractions every two minutes apart for the past hour and half. They're going to keep me another day(or two) to continue to monitor. These contractions are getting intense. Wish me luck

Jacks thing is he needs to be on my arm to fall asleep. Then I can get away from him until he wakes up again. Then he needs my arm again. Hopefully I can break him of that easily. That's a good idea with the topper. The crib mattresses are so hard, with good reason for tiny babies but once they're older it's just not comfortable.

Push them down? I've never heard of someone needing to do that.... That sounds so painful.. Between the texts she sent, along with the picture, every bit of it sounds painful! I can see why she needs to push them down, based off the picture. I feel like they're going to float into her airway! Again, I'll be small saggies here!

It's signing time with Alex and Leah/come and plaaayyy. Is that back on Netflix guster? No shame in using TV for a break now and then. I finally got my floors swept and mopped the other day thanks to Spirit: Riding Free. I hope Max's appetite picks up now wedding. So happy L is in a better day setting now chrisy01. Enjoy your day lfig! Watch lots of trashy shows while doing laundry. It's not. We bought a season on Amazon, and YouTube actually has a good number of her clips plus her newer show, Rachel and the Tree-schoolers. I don't feel that guilty. We usually have the TV on in the background on either music or something like Signing Time, but I'm able to distract the kids with other things to do so it's just occasionally they look up, but this is a full beg from me-- please stare at the TV! We tried Spirit after you mentioned it a few weeks ago, but Josie got really sad because the little girl didn't have a mom in the story and because the horse couldn't do what the other horses could do in the first few episodes. Poor sensitive soul never makes it through stuff like that.

I've decided the only way I'll get boobs is if Dr. Dubrow from Botched offers me a discount.

Sometimes, but not usually. That’s one of the things I have regrets about. She sleeps better/longer in my bed or Hannah’s so I have been having her nap there. Clearly that’s where some of the mixed signals are coming from.

trtlcrzy, i'm sorry sleep training is not going easily. I'm glad H was able to sleep. Motrin does help. No prescription my dr said swelling like this is pretty normal based on where my break is. It actually doesn't hurt at all which is why it's so annoying to just rest it. tgrimes, hell no to that bucket. I'm sure it would help, but I'll suffer in silence. Enjoy the field trip, inthekittyI LOVE those lfig. And I have a few target gift card burning a hole in my wallet. I know what I'm getting!

It probably won't be until later tonight since they're 2 hours behind me and my nights are chaotic before H goes to bed.

lfig I remember when E was tiny, wishing someone would invent gloves that had the weight of a human hand. I see they did, but I was too tired to google. I hope that person is a millionaire.

She can fall asleep without it, but she prefers it. I need to give her a Barbie or something with hair, lol.
