Achievements: I started the 40 bags/40 days challenge last week, to hopefully get rid of all of this effing clutter in my house.
Challenges: Staying organized, sticking to my diet, getting enough sleep, controlling my anxiety. The list goes on and on.
Plans for the week? School, TaeKwonDo, and Gymnastics. I've got a PTA meeting on Tuesday and a dentist appointment for myself on Wednesday. I'm also volunteering at the school a couple days this week. DD's teacher is about to go on maternity leave, so I figured I'd help out before she goes. And I think we are going to try to do the pumpkin patch this weekend.
How are YOU doing? I'm okay. ***TW*** Still working on processing my most recent loss. October isn't the easiest month for me anyways, since it is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month. And I've got a loss anniversary coming up at the end of the month, from my 2nd loss I had 3 years ago. But I'm excited about Halloween coming up, so that helps out a bit.
Q's/Vent? I've got nothing.
QOTW - cake or pie? This is tough to answer. But I think I'm going to go with cake. Because frosting is life.

elsiemae ***TW*** October has been difficult for me as well, especially since my EDD was the 15th of this month. It’s hitting hard. I’m so sorry you are going through this too. ***End TW*** I can’t seem to get it together with the challenges you mentioned either. I have a schedule so stuff does get done, but since starting homeschooling, gym and diet have been missed.

Achievements: we survived another week of homeschooling and a cranky 2 year old with an ear infection.
Challenges: the cranky two year old still has an ear infection and I don’t feel great.
Plans for the week? Taking my sis to Dance on Wednesday and the kids have hair cuts on Thursday.
How are YOU doing? I’m not feeling well and I’m feeling kinda down in general. I hope it passes soon.
Q's/Vent? DS2 has seen a new therapist nearly every time he has gone to therapy. I’m concerned about the level of care he could be receiving when there is no continuity and I’m having to tell the therapist what the last therapist was doing. Also he is supposed to be receiving vital STEM and insurance is paying for him to get it, but he isn’t getting it since only two therapists there are certified to preform it and he hasn’t seen them in awhile.
QOTW- cake or pie? I think pie (as long as cheesecake counts as pie).

elsiemae I'm so sorry Radley I'm Sorry! I would be frustrated that he isn't receiving the things being paid for, is there someone you can talk to and find out why you can't have a consistent therapist? I agree, continuing care with the same person is probably more beneficial.

Achievements: I finally went through the two bins of random mismatched stuff in the toy room and put it all away and got rid of the bins so it doesn't happen again Challenges: Balancing between everyday chores and projects I want to get done. Plans for the week? DD1 has preschool twice, gymnastics for DD2, swimming lessons, and a trip to the zoo tomorrow. Also hoping to go get pumpkins this week. How are YOU doing? I'm ok just feeling very tired but I think that's just a new state for me Cake or pie? Probably pie, I love a good berry one.

Achievements: Survived the weekend while Dh worked.
Challenges: why won't my kids nap? A hates napping and G will only nap in his crib at home or on me. Ugghh
Plans for the week? Nothing much. Dh works 4 days, so we are hanging low.
How are YOU doing? I'm tired. Trying to find motivation to do anything.
Q's/Vent?
QOTW- cake or pie? Both!

Achievements: just chugging along here. DS had his last soccer game this past Saturday but we just found out yesterday our team did so well we've been invited to the fall classic in a couple of weeks which is an afternoon of two games pretty much back to back. Challenges: see above lol Plans for the week? we are FINALLY starting OT & speech again tonight but instead of diving right back into things it's a freaking evaluation which is so damn stupid. They said everyone has to do it for administrative purposes. The quick backstory is that they "merged" with a hospital system. They talked about it as the building was just going to change but literally everything is changing. It still pisses me off & he's been without therapy (outside of school) for months now because of it so now we're pushed back another week. An evaluation doesn't freaking count. So stupid. So that's today. Picture day is tomorrow. I'm going in with him again in the morning to take him in early. His class goes in the afternoon. After lunch. After recess. No thank you to that. I did it last year so I'm going to do it again. Years of crappy pictures has me jaded. Then he has no school Friday. How are YOU doing? Meh. I have been exhausted lately. Q's/Vent? There's just too much to vent about lately. QOTW- cake or pie? Probably cake but a homemade dutch apple pie is my fave.

younglove Way to go on that achievement! And I hope you can get things better balanced for you. NamasteBirches I’m so sorry. The frustration of trying to get your child the care they need can be completely overwhelming. I really hope he can get therapy soon and it’s ridiculous it has taken this long. And vent away all you like. ETA: lildiamondeyes I’m so sorry about the naps. I hope that changes for you soon so you can get a break.

younglove I contacted the coordinator and then she contacted one of the heads at the office (who happens to be DS2’s head therapist as well). They are going to flag his records so he won’t just be filled in with whoever is available if his main therapists aren’t available. They are also going to make sure that they are filling me in on everything and coming and getting me for the end of his sessions so we can go over home care. Apparently his head therapist had all of the other therapists reporting to her, which is a little more reassuring but I would much rather him see just a regular OT and Oral Therapist instead of whoever is available in that field at the time.
