Contractions started at 1:30am this morning and were coming every 10 minutes consistently all morning. Went to the hospital around 10am and was 6cm! Got a room and epidural. Passed out 5 mins after my epidural but all better now after the anesthesiologist rushed back in and made some adjustments. Waiting on the midwife to come recheck me and break my water. More later!  |

Baby Jon.athan Sc.ott was born this afternoon at 2:35PM weighing in at 8lbs 14.5oz, 21.5 inches long, and by some magic arrived in a single push! 2nd degree tear though because his hand came out up by his head. Afternoon and evening has been a slew of nurses and family visitors. DH went home to be with DS for the night, but we did a video chat before bed so I could see him. For the moment we aren't planning to bring him to the hospital since he has a huge fear of doctors. I am super tired and these post-delivery contractions are killer! But otherwise doing alright and just getting back into the swing of nursing again. Baby! Looks quite a lot like DS1 currently.  |
