With 4 people in the house we do laundry at least every 2 days, sometimes more depending on towels, blankets, ans big items like jeans and sweaters. I have 4 people in the house too... I only do laundry once a week, usually on Sundays. I tried doing it once during the week as well but found that the clothes never got folded and just sat on the chair until the weekend anyway.

i think we have 7-8 pairs of jammies per kid. Usually I let them wear it twice unless it's dirty (which frequently happens with DS because he's a very heavy night wetter).

You and I are the same. Yep. Except I also do a load of cloth diapers every other day. Re PJs: We used to buy more. W used to get like 7 or 8 pairs. But we wear them 2-3 days so finally last winter I was like why the hell am I buying all these pajamas. Some were washed and reworn before another pair is even touched. And you know 8 ea x 3 kids is...like what am I made of money? So now we have about 4 ea. That guarantees us a week plus an extra set for diaper blow outs or whatever nonsense they are up to.

Ooo that looks yummy dashook!! Did you tell your current firm yet? Yup, this afternoon. It went surprisingly well. I'm drinking tonight and enjoying the first time in 9 days that my stomach hasn't been tied up in knots of anxiety.

I get 7 pairs of jammies and wash after 1 use. It's rare they aren't "soiled" in some way in the morning. I do O's laundry once a week on weekends. I change his crib sheet once a week. I change our sheets every two weeks.... (I aim to at least!)

I had the same realization when M turned 2.

I do the babies laundry every 2-3 days mostly bc AB has so few clothes. They are in the house 5 out of 7 days, so they are creatures of comfort and I put them in the same things on repeat. (I need to get them out more now that we’re approaching 1yr old)
AV has sooooo many hand me downs from my sister but she had already given away most of the younger boy stuff - so we are just getting to ABs hand me downs at about 2T. Thus I’ve had to buy him almost every piece and I am frugal when it comes to spending at this age.
Re PJs, they each have 2 pairs which they wear up to two nights. Since I do laundry so frequently those get washed and immediately reworn. However they are interestingly sized babies so part of the reason they only have a couple is bc PJs just suck on them. AV would still fit newborn size clothes if it weren’t for her length but needs 9/1/ month stuff for length. AB needs 2T for width mostly on his arms but then the pants are always big on him and too long (as are the shirt sleeves). But they don’t sell PJs in two different size sets.. All of that to say, alot of of the time I put them in a comfy onesie and PJ pants bc I prefer the way onesies fit them and they don’t ride up and cause a draft up their back.
I need to figure out my cold weather game plan for them - I bought footed fleece PJ (one piece) - let’s see if they let me put it on them.

Trying to remember when I changed the crib sheet last🤔
We don't have laundry in our apartment, so it's every week or 1.5 weeks, depends on when j runs out of shorts.

Washing sheets every day is like whoa to me. How often so you wash your own sheets vino? Crib sheet gets changed every 2nd day, I did this with B as well until he went to his bed at 2.5yo. They are stomach sleepers so i just think of their face on the sheets for 12 hours 🤷♀️ Now B's bed sheets and ours are every Sunday.

M has 5 pairs of PJs. New ones every night. I always wear new jammies at night so I didn't even think about her wearing them more than once. She's also super sweaty. Pedi says it's because she has so much hair. I think he was just being nice.
