Morning! My mom has been released and is recovering at home. They have a visiting nurse coming today and I think one of the ladies from her church is bringing dinner for them tonight. She sounds much better, thank goodness!
DH is quietly looking and interviewing for positions...he has an interview today with a midsize firm here and he seems to check all of the boxes listed in the description. It'd be such a great opportunity for him so I'm crossing my fingers.
Not sure what I'm doing today with the girls...need to figure that out.

I am sitting at the doctors waiting to get my bloodwork for the NIPT. I made it to the gym this morning. I only did 2.5 miles but at least it's something. J is still all stuffy and coughing but it doesn't seem to be slowing him down.
We are going out to lunch for a coworkers birthday and I've been spending A LOT of time thinking about what I want to eat.

We went for a nice walk last night after dinner. I love this time of year. H came along with us which was nice. He's trying to be a little more active. It was also a good work out pushing the kids in the stroller since we're in a bit of a hilly area.

Hi everyone! I've missed you all. I took a partially unplanned break from social media/ the internet— came down to OBX on Saturday, and the wifi was out for a couple of days. And then I just decided to stay off for a while even when it came back on. We're down here celebrating my dad's 65th.

Oh and M starts at a daycare/Montessori place next week. 2 days a week and it’ll be the first time she’s not 100% at home with me. I’m excited for her (and me) but also a little nervous! I hope she likes it.

I am happy to report that I think this medication works. I only had a handful of issues this morning with Isaac and his impulses. We were able to do our reading homework without any reminder to sit by me. He’s often wanting to move his body in some way the entire time. Anxious to see how school goes. I rarely hear from his main teacher which is frustrating. I mean I get that she’s teaching during the day and that her time is limited to respond or send updates but I feel like if you have a student starting a new medication or a student you are having concerns about that email updates aren’t unreasonable. I haven’t gotten a written update from her in over a week. I haven’t gotten a phone call in over two weeks. I only know how things are going because of his special ed teacher and she doesn’t spend her whole day with him. So I’m a little frustrated and not sure what to do. I suppose I could call her in the morning or after school. But email is so much easier for me.

Hi everyone! I love walks this time of year too Betweenthelines. My favourite. I was up and at it early for a construction meeting. Now I am sitting around waiting for chief and council signatures. Which is kind of nice, killing 2 hours at Boston Pizza haha.

jedi, I've been thinking about your situation with the pills and the liquids. Do you use a local pharmacy or a chain? Many times the local will be better for situations like Isaac (right, did I rename him on my own there?). I'm really pleased that he's taking the liquid, though!! I have an aunt who still can't take pills, so it's not unheard of, but I understand your frustration. redandblue- house update? Let me live vicariously through you on selling a house. Pizzaslut, great news! Are you relieved some now? Also, I did jack shit while I was pregnant, so be kind to yourself that you aren't running 5 miles a day. abominationsnowman- I have all my FB photos set to friends only, so if my in-laws share a photo, only shared friends see it. They have yet to figure it out. ::cackles:: armpants - How are you feeling? When do you have a beta draw? jess213,Good luck to your H, job changing is so hard, even when it's wanted. And wonderful news that your mom is home RunsforWineandCarbs, I'm sure that's the reason you are walking funny coconutbacon, hello! Happy birthday to your dad. Betweenthelines, momololo, CestLaVie, hi lovelies!

I was at a work retreat, which was actually really refreshing. And now it's back to the grind. Also, I've been having some crisis fatigue, so we as a family have been focusing on PR. H works for JetBlue and it feels like we can actually do something to help, so we are trying. Also, shellyr- we've also had that training at work. And we've always taught the kids: an alarm needs to be headed immediately; if you see a gun: stop, don't touch, leave the area and tell an adult. It sucks, but it's now life.

Peekaru we use a chain. Either Walgreens or cvs. He’s taken liquid before but I was nervous given how the pill situation went. Glad you enjoyed he work retreat.

Peekaru tomorrow. Draw is at 9, but I don't know if I'll get results from the clinic here, or if I have to wait to hear it from the west coast clinic.

Hi! We're having a good week. We have to keep asking/telling day care not to let E nap for long though...he was up until 10pm last night. He really just does not need much sleep. 20-30 min nap, max. Otherwise, he is up really late and my pregnant self can NOT handle that. I handed him over to DH around 9 last night and turned my light out. DC provider is also pregnant, so I expect her to understand my plight but she either forgets or just lets him sleep or whatever.

So H was offered that job. Vacation isn’t good. Pay WAS higher but then he went to work today and got a raise retroactive for the last two months. So he’ll likely be turning the job down.
S1 has an excellent day and I praised the heck out of that and his school photos came. They were great! Overall a much better day and I think I’ll be able tonight

Peekaru so we accepted an offer last night from the first people who came through our house on Tuesday! They have accepted our closing date (January 31) and taking over our contract for our water softener payments. They removed their initial condition for an inspection and offered $7000 more than their initial offer (all of this even before we did anything! Basically because we had 2 offers, 2 more showings and 4 more interested parties to come through today). We should hopefully have a firm deal by Wednesday as they finalize their financing. I will feel much better once the sold sign is up! But even if the deal falls through, I feel like we have plenty of time, and clearly there was good interest so far, so we just put it back on the market Thursday if needed. But for now, I'm enjoying having one less thing to stress about! Lol

Peekaru, my husband used to work for Jetblue before we moved. We both liked the company and the travel benefits.
