What did you finish from your September list?
What are you now working on for October?

I finished quilting and binding my table runner (it's now on display). I did not quilt my nephew's quilt or finish the transitional wreath. I did, however, find my felt so maybe I'll get on that soon. Up for October are Christmas cards Transitional wreath Maybe cutting another quilt finishing at least 1 sock while I'm out of commission after a surgery...2 if I'm really lucky...socks that is

DS1 has his first loose tooth so I made this today. And DD asked for a unicorn hat so she got one.

I did not finish either of the projects I should have in September. I'm just not motivated. I do have to finish both by Christmas, though. I did make a baby hat for a friend. That was an added project, but I did it on the knitting loom so it only took a couple of hours.

I have a whoooole bunch of narwhals to make in the next couple of weeks. Cut a whole bunch of fabric the other night and now mostly just need to do some fusing and sewing. Hope to get at least one finished tonight!

I made a pair of trousers and two blouses. I am happy with the blouses, the trousers...not as much. But they're still decent enough to wear out of the house.
I submitted three quilts to my guild's annual quilt show and they all got rejected. I was a little bummed, but the creativity and skill in the guild is immense so I can see why. Plus we have like 300 members.
This month I'll work on my D's Halloween costume and some other clothes for myself if I have time.

Thank you olenka ! I did a crochet along blanket with a friend this year. It's the Red Heart Yarn Textured Squares Checkerboard Throw or something like that. I'm so close to be done with it! It's 20 total squares. Ten granny squares and ten others that are all different textures. This is what I have so far.

Great work all!
With a newborn i am not getting any crafting done - and while redoing the nursery earlier this summer my hobbyroom ended up as a storage room oops. I did start tidying it up so I can do some crafting - probably card making - now that fall and winter are upon us and I wont be spending much time in the garden no more in my spare time..so maybe i will have something to show soonish as well.

What did you finish from your September list? I think I finished making burp cloths in September and I’m through 2/3 of the yarn I bought for my cables blanket.
What are you now working on for October? I want to finish making my cable blanket and a hat I have on the needles. Then maybe Christmas socks for me or more hats. Not sure yet.
I think I’m going to go to sewing lessons at my church next weekend. So far they haven’t done anything I’m interested in, but they are starting pillow cases for charity next weekend. Sitting in hard chairs does not sound like fun though.

honeylemon love the pillow and the unicorn hat! I got my cricut. I made both boys a dabbing skeleton shirt for Halloween. I'm waiting on more HTV. I want to make myself a shirt with the Sanderson sisters on it.

No time lately for crafting other than throwing a white piece of fabric over a stuffed animal then pinning two black circles on it to make a quick ghost since we don't have much Halloween decor.
This month, I need to make LO's Halloween costume and birthday party decor. I measured him and figured out how much fabric I need yesterday.

I tried to make myself a maternity dress by copying the "In a Twist" dress. Not super successful but I did wear it to a wedding this weekend with a sweater over it. I'm hoping I can fix it to look right yet still.
This week I want to make a couple easy rag table runners and maybe start on more maternity dresses

I want to come play, since I'm finally starting to have time to craft more. I've started cutting out pieces for this bag: I'll update with pics of my fabric when I can. I'm doing some Canadian smocking for the zipper flap that I'm really excited about, but it's my first time trying to incorporate it in a purse, so I'm also nervous. My fabric: The dark blue print is the body, the orange is the zipper flap (bag on left), and the green will be the lining. My big project for October will be pumpkin carving; my plan is to do 3 this year, one Kwazi the Octonaut, one pirate ship and one "sea monster". I think this is the Kwazi I'm going with: Save

Next project once my Narwhals are all done (3 down, 5 to go) is to work on our halloween costumes. We're doing a family theme of Zootopia this year. Nugget is going to be the litte fox guy in the elephant suit (so basically just a store-bought elephant suit. maybe a fox ear headband), I'll be Judy Hopps, so I need to make or find a utility belt and make a vest and bunny ears and tail, and J will be Nick Wilde, so I need to make him fox ears and a tail, and some fake popsicles. Hopefully it won't be a ton of work, I'l fairly confident in my ability to make animal headbands and tails.

I didn't do much in September, but I did manage to get this wreath made. And my latest project is a granny striped blanket for my DD. I'll also be working on Halloween costumes, but I haven't really started that project yet. DD is going to be Malificent and DS is going to be Batman.

I finished my squares blanket! The squares are from a Red Heart Yarn free pattern for a textured squares throw. I used a flat braided join and a spike stitch border.

I've been working on that pattern too, but in purple. I set it aside a while ago, but plan to pick it up once the Christmas presents are finished.

I finished one of 4 pairs of slippers for Xmas presents. For now I'm working on a dinosaur costume for DS. The base of it is a sweat suit, and everything on it is made with craft felt and jewellery wire. I'm using fabritac for the first time instead of sewing and it is so quick! There are also fun foam Dino feet for over top of his sneakers, and flow in the dark puff paint for accents.

Not finished, but made progress on my birth record (gotta step it up, baby’s due in December!): I’ve been working on some other minor x-stitch projects too, hopefully will finish them all soon...

Made another plushie from a Choly Knight pattern, a cute lil chubby Dino: Just opened up another set of orders for narwhals and dinos and I’m going to be busy for the next few weeks, I have 13 plushies to Sew ! Can’t wait to get my sewing machine for Christmas so I can do these a little faster (although I do enjoy hand sewing...)
