I’ll be back to tag! Today has been crazy. I had to drive an hour and a half each way to see my RE in the office he was working out of today for a final decision. He was really happy with my lining so we have a green light for October 13! Transfer is one week from today! Yay!! I am so excited for you!

jense927, I'm so glad everything is looking good! Sorry for all the triggers though - it's so hard dealing with things like that. Good luck with acupuncture! And I actually got a report today - they had held off doing assisted hatching yesterday because they weren't sure which ones were really going to keep trucking along at full speed, and they didn't want any hatching too early. Today they did AH on 6 that had fully reached the morula stage; another 7 have been dividing well and are partway through the transition to morula. Another 6 are still dividing, but have slowed down substantially, so who knows whether they'll perk back up or not. But I'm set for a transfer tomorrow at noon!

Well, now I've really gotta cook these two well - despite all those good reports and numbers, nothing made it to freeze. I'm trying to stay positive but I wasn't expecting 20 good looking day 3 embryos to turn into nothing to freeze. I've cried for an hour and now I'm scared I'm hurting the two little ones I have on board. I'm not sure how to get back in a positive mindset, but I know I need to.

Hey all- baseline labs are all fine- TSH still has to come down just a touch. 11 follies on the left, 10 on the right. on/near my left ovary there is a collection of fluid... with my history, it's probably a simple cyst... it was over 5cm though and it looked like it had a septum. If it's in the ovary, can't start. If it's in my tube. Can't start (surgery for a salpingectomy and a cystectomy). BUT, if it really is just free fluid, then we can start. Started my OCPs today and I have an SHG tomorrow.

My AMH came back at 1 ng/ml. Please talk me off the ledge ... is that really bad?

twohopes, how old are you? I think most REs consider 1 to be on the low end of normal, but not necessarily DOR. Your RE should be able to explain what it means with your specific circumstances.

bonzo, I am 37 years and 3 months old today. My AFC was 10, FSH 6.2, LH 4.2 and E2 was at 24. The rest of my indicators looked pretty average until this ..RE was Ok with all of it. I am just discouraged because my husband has a translocation which already significantly reduces our chances. And I am overweight and frantically losing weight, hoping to stimulate starting with my December cycle. I have about 14 lbs to go. I just feel bad about this. Last year in December, my AMH was 2. I can't believe how fast it went down!

How is your FSH and AFC? My last AMH came back at .8 and my RE barely batted an eye at it even though Dr. Google is doom and gloom. When can you touch base with your RE?

Take a deep breath, and wait to see how your RE interprets all of this.

a polyp hydrosalpinx and endometriomas oh my! Gosh darn it. my RE still wants to stim the hell out of me, get the eggs out- while she's in there and I'm sedated, she's going to tie my tubes and get rid of the polyp. OR she is going to just take out the eggs, then I'll have surgery with a D&C, the polyp removal, and then a salpingectomy to just get rid of the tubes all together. Why is my damn uterus a shit storm. Then PGS testing and an FET. I am on OCPs and I start lupron on 10/23.

I have baseline testing this morning!
In prepping for this IVF cycle, I think I need to make a decision soon about BC until we are ready for the cycle to start. I currently have a Mirena in place, and will need it out prior to obviously.
Should I ask my RE/MFM to remove it and switch me to BCPs maybe? How far ahead should I plan to switch?

Fikafairy@ when is your cycle beginning? I had to go off BCP before my baseline. If he or she will remove it, that would work. I don’t know the answer. Sorry! Just sending support.

No idea for sure, as we have some prep work to do for the PGD process still. Probably January/February? They allowed me to do baseline with the Mirena because it's unlikely I have any underlying issues besides the genetic stuff happening.
