My birthday is this month and I will also be super busy at work, boo.
Halloween is just starting to be a thing here so we may get a couple of trick or treaters. It’s daylight savings so they usually do it early ish so I’ll be able to tuck in to the left overs by dark time lol!

Happy Hump Day! Halfway through the week, thankfully. The weekend can't get here soon enough.

I switched my WFH day so I'm in the office today and EXHAUSTED. I may go get Starbucks at some point.
We're going to San Francisco this weekend for 4 days so I cannot wait for this week to be over.
I thought I was feeling better but since yesterday afternoon I've been feeling very meh again. Why can't this nausea just go away already?

One of the kids at MOPS yesterday must have taught my child how to whine, and whine loud and hard. I am not having it today.
In better news, briefly sharing my story and experience with m/c for Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month went really well. I was super shaky while I was talking, but the moms in the room responded well, especially with the little memorial board we set up for them to hang hearts on in honor of their losses, if they wanted to. I hope that it keeps the conversation open throughout the year, too.

Because of the raeg from stupid OBs telling some of you beautiful people that you're gaining too much weight, I took a picture of the chart that's hanging in every exam room at my OB. I'll add the picture later, but here's the information:
BMI <18.5 (underweight) - Total pregnancy weight gain (pounds): 28-40, Total first trimester weight gain (pounds): 2.2-6.6, Second & Third trimester weight gain (pounds): 5 per month
BMI 18.5-24.9 (normal weight) - Total pregnancy weight gain (pounds): 25-35, Total first trimester weight gain (pounds): 2.2-6.6, Second & Third trimester weight gain (pounds): 4 per month
BMI 25-29.9 (over weight) - Total pregnancy weight gain (pounds): 15-25, Total first trimester weight gain (pounds): 2.2-6.6, Second & Third trimester weight gain (pounds): 2.6 per month
BMI >30 - Total pregnancy weight gain (pounds): 11-20, Total first trimester weight gain (pounds): .5-4.4, Second & Third trimester weight gain (pounds): 2 per month
So no matter where you are on this scale, four motherflipping pounds in the motherflipping first trimester is permissible. Not that I really prescribe to the BMI table personally, but for those that do, don't let a doctor cow you just because they're the doctor. I 100% believe we're all doing our goddamn best and if you can't stick to arbitrary guidelines (we all know that how we carry weight is SUPER dependent a myriad of factors per person and not a stupid table, right???), so if you're gaining more than "they" say you should, just give them a Rama punch to the gut.
There's enough shame in this world, we don't need help. Y'all are gorgeous and magnificent, no matter how much of a potato you feel like. <3

Hopefully it opens some lines of communication and provides people needed support and the comfort to talk about these things!

I don’t think we’ll ever come up with a boy name MH and I both like. Maybe we’ll get lucky with a girl lol.

So apparently this baby is a snob and wants nothing to do with tap water. I've been drinking bottled water for the past few weeks because I know my stomach handled it better but I finally decided two days ago to try tap again. And guess who felt like crap for 2 days? So back to bottled water for me.
Snob.
I was supposed to bring leftovers for lunch but we had no leftovers so I have to buy lunch again. I feel so bad wasting the $$.

What are thoughts on Graham as a middle name for a girl? cute/quirky or really weird?
My grandpa passed away in March fairly suddenly and we want to honor him somehow. His mother's maiden name was Graham and it's been a family name since (both my uncles, plus a cousin have it as middle names) and I'm kind of loving Audrey Graham if baby is a girl.

tinyjoys, I love it, especially since it is a family name. Audrey is very sweet too---it has a classic feel without being super common.

I am super picky and would never put a "boy name" on a girl, but I like middle names to have meaning and I pretty much throw the rules out the window for the second name. tinyjoys I would absolutely use Graham in the middle to honor your grandpa. I like Audrey Graham. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

calendula, ovenrack, alwayscheese, thanks guys! His actual name (Mel.vin Har.old) is kind of horrible, but luckily, he went by Mike, so we're leaning towards Michael for a boy middle name. Just deciding on a first name for a boy is proving to be difficult this time around.

cornpop, both DS and this baby have been water snobs. Tap waters (ours is well water) is disgusting. I also need it ice cold.

tinyjoys we are considering Audrey as our girl name too! It was our runner up last pregnancy:) I don't usually love boy names on girls, but I do like names with meaning so I vote to use it!

cornpop we just got these fancy new water filter machines at work and I haaate the water out of them. I've only been able to stomach bottled water and water from my fridge tap. Such weird babies and their water pickiness🤷🏼♀️

I hate pregnancy dreams. Last night I dreamed my little brother died. ![:(](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/sad.png) When I woke up, I thought it was still real until it occurred to me it was a dream.

I miss water. I can't really stomach except right before bed. Otherwise, it bounces off my stomach. This is so different that my previous two pregnancies. All I wanted was ice water slushies and of course, they aren't a thing.

DH won't even talk about names until after our as. I'm really hoping for a girl...I'm afraid DH will want to name a boy after his step dad, since he died last year. His name was Donald, so there's pretty much no way I'm doing that, especially now that Trump is president.
