Just seriously considered puttin orajel on my nipples. I do NOT remember this form last time at all. They feel both bruised and sunburned. mine hurt a lot and are dry. It’s so stupid. Mine are itchy. It’s sooooo annoying!

With DS1 I went from a D cup to E after he was born then back down to a C after I finished breastfeeding. I’m not even halfway into this pregnancy and I’m in my E cup bras. Eek +1 to being ginormous already. I actually appreciated how small they got once I was done BF (minus the stretch marks).

Ugh. Woke up feeling fine, ate oatmeal, then a half hour later I have some mild stomach/abdomen area pains and then throw up all my breakfast.
Normal?
Still feeling... weird.

I’m bumping this because I had another one pop up the last couple days.
I had this with DS as well but I get to a certain point of the pregnancy where I cannot stand the smell of H. And it’s not BO or anything like that it’s just a weird smell that I only notice when pregnant. Something about my hormones and pheromones and stuff like that maybe? Has anyone else experienced this?

This is a real thing. DH must come home and immediately shower with some fragrant body wash/shampoo. It’s nit like he smells BAD but i just can’t deal with whatever it is. I’m the same way with the dog too - he smells fine but there’s something about the smell i can’t handle.

I just noticed this about both dogs. I can’t stand the smell of them. I don’t think they smell different, just it’s really off-putting now.

Just, I'm weird about all smells. There was so many at the mall the other night. And laying in bed smelling DH shampoo/body wash is almost overwhelming.

I'm sort of sensitive to strong fragrances anyway, but shampoo and body wash are SUPER tough for me right now. I ran out of my DIY deodorant so I'm using some old Dove for a few days and it is overwhelming.

So lately (I’m 19 weeks) whenever I eat anything really carby or sugary I get really tired and thirsty about 20 minutes later. I’m worried it’s a sign I might have GD this time around. I’ve not had it before so I have no idea what the symptoms are.
It’ll certainly make the holiday less fun.
Has anyone else felt like this at all?

If refrained from googling symptoms of GD because I'm really good at self diagnosing anything I hear about. I've definitely been getting really thirsty when I don't drink add often as I should. I just figured, yay this way I'll stay hydrated better.

Being thirsty is a normal thing for all humans. And tired. Pregnant or not. GD or not. Try not to worry about it! And some people with GD have no symptoms. So. If you’re thinking about it too much, just make an effort to eat more protein and less carbs. That’s the first step of GD diet anyway Hugs! Worrying sucks.

I’m more worried about the sudden crazy tiredness after eating mainly carbs. Like I almost have to lie down and take a nap. I know it could be dehydration or other things but it just feels like my sugar level is messed up.

I️ haven’t noticed it specifically with carbs/sugar, but mostly like a half hour after eating lunch. I’ll have to pay better attention to what I️ eat for lunch and if I️ notice feeling sleepy. And I️ was wondering the same thing about GD 😬😬 They gave me the orange drink at my appt on Friday and I️ have to do the test in about 3 weeks before my next appt. I’m not a huge meat eater and I’ve been trying harder to eat more protein but the carbs and sugar is alllll I️ crave.

+1 to needing to eat more protein and less carbs. i say this after eating leftover mac and cheese for breakfast. i'm super worried about the gd thing as well. i feel like i haven't been feeling well after sweets and carbs. i failed my 1 hour last time by 1-2 points and do not want to have to do the 3 hour again. i know it's a hormone thing, but my diet has just been horrible and i really need to eat better. good timing with holidays and all.

Is anyone having Braxton Hicks yet? I've been having them on and off for a couple of weeks now (I'm 21w5d), but yesterday I was having multiple ones per hour. I'm thinking maybe I was just dehydrated, so I've been drinking water and tried to rest more last night. Just wondering how normal that is.

It seems kinda random, but definitely more when I've been doing a lot or not drinking. I didn't have them with #1 and much fewer with #2, I have them lots now with #3, so I guess it can vary a lot.

Carpal tunnel! Well, hand numbness, and some swelling. I had De Quervain's Syndrome, or "mommy's thumb," with H (#1). It's mostly overnight/when I wake up, so that is annoying. Oh well. I googled and it seems standard.

Like a "practice contraction" that most docs will tell you not to worry about. It feels like a tightening of your belly that is not painful. Its hard to explain but its kind of like your abdomen gets really tight as though you are flexing a muscle, but you're just sitting there and haven't done anything. Lol. I know that mine usually make me catch my breath at first too. I only remember it happening last time closer to 7+ months.

I was having a TON when I was only like 8-12w pregnant because I was dehydrated. My midwife said it's not uncommon to have them throughout pregnancy, but most FTMs just don't notice them until earlier. I would try drinking more water and resting that's what seemed to help me.

cornpop, ok that makes me feel better. Thank you! ovenrack, I also have the numb hand thing going on. Having better support in bed makes a huge difference. I have a memory foam mattress topper and a Snoogle mini pillow, and I haven't had nearly as much of a problem this pregnancy since I started using both of those.

Honestly that memory topper was the best thing I've done for myself in a long time. DH and I both crawl into bed at the end of the day like AHHHHHHH

As long as they’re not painful I don’t worry about them. I had a ton last time too with no issues.

If I'm not sure if it's a Braxton hicks does that mean it's not? Just strange feeling that I think maybe is my uterus getting right, but hard to tell.
I have a memory foam topper in my Amazon cart and I should just order it, but I'm hoping for more sales.

Ditto to having Braxton Hicks and noticing a connection to not drinking enough water or being super active.
Umm...I'm already having the TMI, unpleasant symptom of hemis 😩 Everything is happening so much sooner this time.
