Hi morning all.
Lately this house has been sleeping until about 7am and then getting up slowly and being lazy. It hit me this morning that it's going to be a shock for everyone when we have to be in the car ready to go at 7am in about 6 weeks. Eeeek back to work I go!

Morning! I'm a little annoying. I was talking to a friend I workout with about how I need to up my boot camp classes again and she was all, "Well, I wasn't going to say anything but yeah you really have been slacking. You really need to motivate yourself" and blah blah blah. She knows I'm pregnant and that I've struggled with some of the workouts because of nausea. I've still been going to like 3-4 classes a week. She's in her 40's and has never been pregnant before. I wanted to scream, "You try being pregnant with two kids at home and see how many times you go to boot camp while you're queasy and exhausted!" Ok, deep breaths. Let it go, Wine! I hope you laughed in her face.

wineallthetime 3-4 classes a week?!? Dang, that's impressive, especially pregnant. Don't be so hard on yourself, you're doing great! Thank you! I should note that they are only 30min classes, but I was impressed with myself! I don't even do my walks anymore. You're kicking ass, and she can shove it.

Got into the office today and the first email I ready was a passive aggressive email from my boss basically accusing me of selling at too low of margins for my own profit (I get bonus direct from manufacturers for selling certain products). He's just an idiot and doesn't know a thing about how I do my job. I corrected him as nicely as I could. His only response was "thanks". How about, "my bad, I'm sorry"?
I've sold $700k in product this month alone and he's bitching about an $8k order. I really want to punch him right now. Just let me do my job

Morning! I'm in an F it mood. I haven't even gotten to work yet so I feel sorry for my coworkers.
Next Wednesday I'm coming to work late. Boss B knows about it but no one else will. It's to show the others how annoying it is when people come late and don't communicate.

That's sucks. I'm sorry. My boss has no idea what I do...I only talk to him when something is going to delay or stop production. The other guy who works in purchasing, takes every little question to our boss, he can not make a decision himself. I guess because I was previously a purchasing manager, I feel like I can make good decisions. Anyway, when my boss asked me to show the other guy how to do returns yesterday, I almost laughed. Seriously, HOW has he been here 12 years and never had to do this shit???

mwhip, it's mind boggling. He's the owner of this company and knows nothing. I get that yes, that is why he has employees, but we have less than 10 employees so he should have a better grasp on it. He'll go weeks without hardly taking to me and then he'll nit pick the little things that he is usually wrong on anyway.

I was pretty proud of myself when I walked around the track a few times while pregnant!!

Ace gets gold stars for his blood work. She said to give him some anti-nausea meds for the vomiting and we are going to start feeding him in a separate room so that he doesn't "scarf and barf", which I'm pretty sure is a medical term because it came directly from the vet, to keep meal time from being a competition between him and the other 2.

So I had a job interview yesterday - first in probably 17 or 18 years. It was interesting, and I get the feeling they really liked me. I met with 4 different people and they said they would be in touch on Thursday to discuss if I should come back to meet the president.
The job is only 2 days per week. But it is a Director level position (HR for a small consulting company) And while I am happy with my part time gig now, I'm not sure if that's what I want down the road (or if it's financially feasible). It seems fairly flexible, and like maybe I could insert myself in other areas like I do now, and possibly increase the work time.
I've been here for 22 years. There is a lot I do not like here. But it is totally my home. And beyond flexible. I am so confused about what I want to do!

My new attorney just asked me to do a shit ton of extra work just because he doesn't want to flip pages. I provided him with printouts of everything he needed. He has to compare defendants on a petition to defendants on title work. He wants me to type up each of them in word or excel. There's over 60 in each so.....no.
Then he tells me that's why he has assistants.
Look, fucker. I'm not your assistant.
Funny thing is, if he was actually busy, I'd consider doing it. But he's told me a million times this month he doesn't have anything to do. I also gave him all of this before I went on vacation in August.
End rant.

We had an adviser like this only he didn't have any. So he would try to use the other advisers assistants. And would get pissy and complain when we wouldn't drop everything to help him.

jewels That sounds like a tough decision. I'm sure you will make the best choice for yourself and your family, when the offer is given. H had a phone interview this morning that he said went really well. More money, less long travel, same line of work, except they will want him to start quick. He hasn't figured out when to tell him December would be the earliest he could start, if they offer him the job. I think he needs to bring it up quickly, but his industry is completely different than anything I've worked in.

No, he's field service for boom trucks/aerial lifts, like your utility trucks. So he's based out of KC, but goes wherever the customer is to do repairs that can be done in the field. The interview was with one of his companies suppliers.

Picked ds up from preschool today. He had a 'big brother' shirt on, they very carefully asked if I had some news by asking if his shirt was new 😂😂😂. I said 'yes the shirt is new and no no3 is not in the way, I just liked the shirt, after all he is a big brother'.
Plus I got myself in to gear and took the kids to a petting zoo and a playground and met up with dh after for ice cream and beer.
