Hi. I was an occasional lurker on parenting and special needs at the other place but never got the courage to post. I figured with the implosion now is as good a time as any to join in. I am from NY and have two boys who are 5 and almost 2. I am pretty awkward and shy (both IRL and online apparently) but I figured I should introduce myself so you all weren't wondering who the hell I was. So, yeah... Hi everyone! I am totally awkward and shy too. You would think it would be easy to be less so on an online forum, but nope. Still get super nervous every time I press "create post." hi!  |

I haven't read it. But Jodi Picault is basically meant to make you cry your eyes out. So, no judgment. I was gutted. I read that and Sarah's Key (also a really good book) back to back and they both messed me up! What is your favorite book? I've read both of those books, but not back to back, thankfully. I would have been a freaking mess for weeks! |
