I never start daily randoms but I've been up for almost 2 hrs now. I think I woke up from cramps or bubs kicking then an hr ago definitely cramps 😯 So I timed them, decided to make a cup of tea and it's petered out 🤷🏻♀️ So I guess nothing then. I'm not sure now if my body can hold on to bubs for another week.

My bump felt really hard all day and I had this crampy feeling in my lower uterus. I feel like baby is just burrowing his head down further and pushing up his butt against my belly button when he does it. Soooooo uncomfortable!
Other than my bump being uncomfortable pretty much the entire day - it was a pretty boring one. I have successfully avoided catching DS' cold, and I think he will be up for nursery school tomorrow. Let's hope he doesn't pick up anything else from his classmates!

I'm at work and I'm in a mood for no good reason. Everything is just making me angry.
I have a huge meeting this morning and I'm not sure it is going to go well. We're doing a project for another team and our teams do things differently so I don't think they're going to like how I've done my part, just because it isn't how they do things. I've worked hard to get this done 2-3 weeks ahead of when it is due so it is done before I'm gone and not left hanging. If they don't like it, I'm like..... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I have an OB appt this afternoon and I'm afraid she's going to push an induction. THAT is why I'm in a mood, I'm quite sure. DH took the afternoon off to go with me because it is my last scheduled appt and they're also doing an U/S to check fluid/baby/etc.

At the chiro, doing a few errand, the mall and then growth ultrasound later.
It's way too hot, 32c or 91F... fall get your shit together. It wasn't this hot in July, I'm swelling already.

I am definitely getting jealous of all these babies being born. My due date being on literally the last day of October is hard!!!
Nothing exciting here. I pulled my groin muscle stepping over a baby gate. I finally ordered a walk through one but really wishing I did it earlier. This shit hurts.

MIL brought me the best care package from Blue Mercury yesterday. Laura Mercier lotions, m61 facial wipes, dry shampoo, and an awesome sheet mask. Thought of Taitai and rebeccabunch. Well, I put on the mask last night and scared the nurse. She actually screamed. 😂😂😂  |

I had to take the dogs to the groomer this morning but on my way home I stopped at my favorite donut place. No regrets. I hardly ever get donuts and it definitely delivered.

My team at work is at a quarterly leadership meeting in SF today and tomorrow. I can't travel (obvi) and there is no dial-in. Looks like today and tomorrow will be spent getting ready for mat leave and finishing up DD's 1-year scrapbook on Shutterfly! Darn.  |

DS is being an absolute terror this morning. Several prolonged, hysterical meltdowns. My best guess is that he's got a 2y molar on the way. Days like these make it super hard to WFH because he just keeps screaming "mommy". At least work has been slow so far today. Ooof - I'm ready for a nap already.

We got a call from the hospital, we have to be there at the crack of ass tomorrow (6:30AM). I mean I'm usually up by then but sitting in my PJs reading internet news and drinking a cappuccino. I have all the feels about bringing another kid into this world weeks too soon. I hope she is ready. I am so hormonal I may just sob on and off between now and then.  |

I laid down and poked him a couple of times to try and move him. It worked enough where I could lay down without pain. It was so annoying! |

Taitai and blackmamba sheet masks are terrifying if you aren't expecting it! Last night I had one on and DS1 got out of bed to potty and I was all like... do not come in mommy room when you are finished! He would've been so scared. I even warn H before he comes in. What a thoughtful gift from your MIL! I'm glad you are hving a completely different experience this time. You really deserve it.

So much work stress. Trying to get all my projects finished or in a good place to hand off while I'm out, and I keep getting assigned new things. Why? If you want me to start handing stuff over starting Monday, don't give me more that I probably won't get to between now and next week.

You've got this, bootsorhearts1! I'm starting to have a lot of feels just reading about putting the big siblings to bed for the last time. You'll do great! Baby will do great! Lots of love! I wasn't emotional about this at all before DS2 was born (almost like I was cold hearted) but the last Friday before my due date we had a special DS1 and Mom day and I cried the whole time on and off. 😥 Coming from the other end though now, things are eventually going to be so awesome for everyone's current kids. They are getting a new family member! Depending on the age of your oldest it takes longer for the good stuff to come but DS1 and DS2 are obsessed with each other. It adds a whole other dimension to their lives, they have a side kick and playmate all the time plus their own little jokes and words! It makes my life so much easier too because they have each other. I totally got sad too but now I see that there's so much good to come for them! |
