I did 20 and 22 this morning. My arms hurt. Those shoulder presses reminded me just how weak my left shoulder in particular has become.

I just sold my dining room chairs so I need to find some other way to do these tricep dips by tonight.

I can't do the tricep dips ever. When I tried them, I felt like my shoulder was going to pop out.

I can't do the tricep dips ever. When I tried them, I felt like my shoulder was going to pop out. FWIW, I don't think they're the greatest tricep exercises out there. So I don't stress too much about sucking at these. 1. you can cheat pretty significantly by using your legs on the push up part and 2. it's really difficult to keep your arms pressed against your side and your elbows pointing backwards, so I think it's easy to bow your arms out recruit other arm muscles into helping push you too.

Yep, I've noticed recently that when my arms get tired I just start using my legs. I have to really focus if I want to be working out my triceps.

This week is going to be hard for me. DS has a million Drs appts and my in laws will be in town starting Wednesday. I'm going to try to get them in, but if I'm being realistic, I'll probably have to redo week 4 next week.

Triceps dips are the worst and I never feel like I'm doing them right. Same. I always feel like I'm using my triceps the least of all my arm/back muscles.

Day 20 done. I like tricep dips. Put one leg in the air so you don't rely too much on legs. 😈😈
I feel good about today. I think I sweat more than I ever have on her workouts. I'm going to try not to double up anymore. When I just have one short workout, I feel like I put more into it.

It's been a week since I added healthier eating to this workout and getting 10k steps a day. I weighed myself this morning and was very happy with the results. I won't measure inches til fit test day, but the lbs off is good motivation to keep going.
I'm looking forward to starting week four tomorrow. Unlike changing up the workouts, plus I'm sick of the part this week where she giggles like a schoolgirl and covers her mouth when she says ass in the kickback section.

I took the weekend off so I have a few days to make up. I did 18 and 19 today. Tomorrow I will probably start week 4 but I will try to do Day 20 also. I really hate this weeks cardio with all the jumping.

I did day 22 this morning. My plan was to double up today to get ahead before the weekend, but I tweaked my back a little last night and didn't want to push it.
I had to modify the bent over rows because bending over like she does was straining the sore spot, but I subbed upright rows. Overall, I liked this workout today, but I was definitely moving a little slower/more carefully to try and avoid further injury.
Rather than my normal run, I did some long, slow stretching and a 2.5 mile walk. I am hoping if I keep up with the stretching today I can work it out and not let it throw me off schedule.

I gained weight since last week but I've ate horribly so I can't even pretend to be surprised. I have kept on track with the workouts and am seeing more tone in my legs already. Going to really focus on my eating this week.

Day 22 done. I really liked this one minus the lunges. My short fat legs struggle so much with lunges. I will try to make up day 20 tonight, I didn't want to do it now and get super sweaty before school pick up since I wouldnt have time to shower

Day 22 done and C25k week 5 day 1 done.
I really liked it except for the shoulder raises. Those got me.
I bumped up to 8 lbs for the bent over row move but stayed at 5 for everything else.
I'm really scared for cardio tomorrow.

Day 22 done. I wasn't crazy about this strength workout and she's starting to annoy me. I don't fault her for talking about her body how she is. She said she has 60lbs to lose and she's working out in a sports bra in front of a gazillion people. That must be such a vulnerable feeling. I get it. I would say/feel the same way.

Cher - I've been turning her volume down and blasting music instead. It's also not an "amazing" workout if you're used to actual gym classes or a trainer, but I'm looking at it like a commitment to you guys to keep going, and it's better than nothing.
