Heading home after brew at the zoo. They had 80 differences breweries represented, and most had 2-4 type on tap.
My love of unfiltered hefeweisen is renewed

Omfg my husband said 10 more minutes on mowing the lawn at 5:30. It is 6:17. Wtf. He always does this with the GD lawn. MH does the same damn thing. Every time. Every. Damn. Time. How do you not know how long it takes to mow the damn lawn at this point?! It's been 4 years!

thisbitch, the most athletic looking woman I saw at the aquarium today was wearing a green button up. Was it you? No, but I was in Anthropologie today and I saw a dish towel that said, "you're the pineapple of my eye" and I thought of you.

Our plan was beer and brats until we got a last minute birthday party invitation. It's family so we can't get out of it, as much as I'd love to come up with some excuse. I still definitely plan on beer after.

No drinking yet, DS just got up from a nap and we're about to head outside to play. Hoping some neighborhood kids are out there to amuse him

imapenguin I think Funk Zone is fruitier. It was my least favorite of the three rosé bottles I've had but I'm getting another bottle in my next shipment to give it a second shot. So Summer Water unless you don't like dry rosé. It's not super dry (Sauvetage is that, more traditional Provençal style IMO). It's a happy medium.

It's been such a hectic weekend. Mh ended up having to leave in a hurry so I have no help cleaning. I'm putting the rest of it off and getting my buzz on! Thanks for turning me on to rosè, ladies!

In that case I think I may go with the funk zone because we're having hot dogs and they don't do any favors for dry wine.

I should win an award for somehow managing a 2 minute phone call with my MIL. That has to be a record of some kind.

I think I'm finished my application to this program except for my essay portion. It's really got me in knots. MH is being a dear and taking the kids out so I can work on it. I got a sense that it's the make or break portion of the application and it can only be 1000 words max. JTTW! You are an excellent writer so I'm sure you will nail it! Well thank you! It's been so, so long since I've written academically so it feels very foreign. Like typing with rubber kitchen gloves on! 😂 ok I'm procrastinating...

I think Summer Water prob goes with everything but I have to say I'm really partial to the Sauverage. It doesn't seem to always be in stock - but if I add it to my order whenever I see it, as long as you don't remove it from your cart, even when it shows unavailable I've always gotten it. I'm creating a stash. 😊

I can't wait to try my summer water. I think I'm going to order cans of Ruza for the river next weekend too.

Just opened a beer. DS requested to watch Sword in the Stone tonight and I haven't watched it in years so I'm kind of excited.

Had some sake at hibachi. Headed home. Maybe too tired for more booze. We'll see.

All of the houses we looked at today are 2+ though so one of those riding mowers will be happening.
