bootsorhearts1 I love love love Office Space! One of my favorite movies ever. thatgirlrachel Yay for your last day before maternity leave! Today was a good wrap up to the week. I got a lot of stuff done, and DH installed the infant car seat base in the car. We also realized how much we forgot about newborn gear. Once DH clicked the infant bucket seat in the base, he couldn't figure out how to get it back out! Cue DH struggling with it for 15 minutes before I watched the YouTube video and was like - omg - all we have to do is pull on this grey handle. We both felt so stupid. 😬😬 Better to figure that out now than when we take baby home from the hospital I guess!!! Blerg.

Morning. DS cluster fed all night long, and is now passed out. Zzzzzzz Zzzzzzz
I have a friend coming in to town this weekend who is going to help us unpack at the new house, so I've got to pack up the kids and I to spend a couple of nights over there. Our new bed was delivered, and I'm so excited to finally sleep in it!

thatgirlrachel Woohoo!!!! Morning! Up a little earlier than usual this morning to watch my nephew for SIL (daycare provider had a funeral). DS is still sleeping, but should be up soon now that his cousin is here. Probably taking the both of them to an ECFE class later this morning for a couple hours. That's all I got for now.

My boss gave me a free half day this morning (even before he knew what all was going on with my family) so I am taking advantage and signing on late. Got more info on what happened to my grandfather - his heart rate was in the 30s and they had to shock him to get his heart to speed up. He was supposed to get a pacemaker today at noon but someone mistakenly fed him breakfast, so now they need to reschedule to later in the day. DS's fever has been staying down on its own so far today so hopefully we are at least over that. Whew!

I got a free sample of the Living Proof Full Dry Volume Blast. It is amazing and smells great. Between the pregnancy hair and this stuff my hair is fierce. But I'm pretty excited to get it done tomorrow.

arimaythea Like for getting the morning off of work. Hopefully they can get the pacemaker in this afternoon and he starts getting better.

August Blooms,I'm dying. Too funny! Between the swollen feet and the inability to put them on, I've given up on shoes. It's flip flops or boat shoes with everything at this point. I look ridiculous, but I give zero F@#%$.

My pump came in the mail yesterday and we're installing the carseat tomorrow. Little by little things are starting to feel more real. I keep daydreaming of the day when I'm not a swollen mess!

bootsorhearts1, I feel like that is me all day erry day lately. I'm trying to be productive at work, I promise. But it is hard. Taitai our infant seat has been installed in the van for a while but I came across the infant inserts in a tote last week and had totally forgot about them. August Blooms, I can't remember the last time I wore a shoe I had to tie. Between swollen feet/ankles and massive belly there is no way I could get on regular shoes. I don't know how people do it in the middle of winter. Or maybe they don't swell as much in cold weather? IDK, but you'll find me in my sandals regardless of whether they look cute or match my outfit. AFM, my husband did a sinus/lymphatic massage for me last night and I slept a lot better. My head is still full of junk but I can at least feel things moving and shifting so I'm hoping I'm on the down hill side of this. PLEASE let me be almost over this. Some has drained into my chest and I'm starting to cough now, though.

I'm almost done washing all the baby stuff (clothes, boppy cover, swing cover, play mat, etc.). Now I just need to organize everything! Keeping everything in it's place is about 1 million times harder with a toddler around! Yeesh!

I look ridiculous, but I give zero F@#%$. You probably still look more fashionable than I do with my orthopedic Sketchers lol! My one coworker walked by my office the other day and goes "Oh, those look like really practical shoes" and I died a little inside. While they've been a savior in helping with my SPD, and are kinda, sorta, semi cute, I cant wait to burn them.

In other news, I got a nose bleed shortly after waking up this morning. That's totally a sign of labor, right!?
From now on, everything is a sign of labor. mmk!?

chitownsully Shoes, pants anything that really involves bending is almost completely out of the question. I've been lucky this pregnancy that I'm not really swelling but it's coming. These shoes already feel tight on my feet and it's supposed to be unseasonably hot this weekend. I'm going to fight it but that train always seems to run on time. CoachTsWife DD was an April baby the winter helps but swelling still happens. rachydc Orthapedic sketchers sound like they would feel like heaven on third tri feet. And here are the shoes that I struggled with

My Mom and MIL are starting to check on me daily. They are texts that try to be about something else but it is obvious they just want to know if I'm in labor. I don't know why they don't realize that we will let them know since they will tag team care for DS while we're in the hospital. We can't keep them in the dark about this - they will be the first to know. I'm trying to be understanding and I know that they are only asking because they care, but it is already annoying.

My aunt does this and I've chosen to ignore her. She has good intentions but I have little tolerance for the "how are you feeling?" question these days. Unfortunately, she's turned to my mom asking why I don't respond. So now my mom is in the middle and not happy. Oh well. Such is life.

August Blooms I wore knee high riding boots 2 weeks ago and the sock marks were embedded in my swollen feet for 3 days. No more. Love the booties and admire you for wearing them!

Hi! We are finally moving forward with the purchase of this house and my husband told them 10/20 was a good closing date. I have a RCS 10/18 so I asked him how did he see me attending to sign papers, and he just stared at me. Gotta change the date buddy!
