Realistic - I would really like a larger mud room with storage. We have a small one with laundry and a closet, but a place to sit and put on shoes and keep all of their bags would be great. Also, double oven in the wall with french doors. Dream - Heated driveway for winter
A craft room for me. I'd love to have a permanent spot for my sewing machine, and have all materials close to hand instead of setting things up and packing away every time I want to make something.
A mudroom/laundry room. A master bathroom with soaker tub. And a playroom. Those are probably my top 3 for when we look for a new house or think about building.
My current wishlist is renovating my kitchen so that I can get a freaking dishwasher. Next on that list is finishing our basement so we could have a playroom down there and make my laundry room more pleasing to the eyes.
My many years down the road dream is putting a sun room on the back of my house with sky lights and lots of windows.
I also wouldn't mind having someone put in a garden tub in my bathroom or putting organizational systems in all the closets.
A mudroom would be first on my list. I've also always wanted a bay window/reading nook area.
I'm actually hoping to pull out my guest bathroom under the stairs and put in a reading bench/nook. Similar to this but we might keep the small window from the bathroom.

I love this! I would want to keep the window. Every time I picture myself with a reading nook I picture that it is raining. There is nothing better than curling up with a good book and watching the rain.

Plenty of rain here.....now if I could just shut the kids up 🤔😉
My dream home floor plan has two bedrooms upstairs for my kids and in between them, a book nook. This is how I imagine it to look.
And my dream kitchen always evolves but there is always a huge window in front of the sink. I love looking outside while I wash dishes or boil the kettle.
Gas stove and a bigger laundry room. With the pantry, upright freezer, and laundry all in one room, it's tight. I don't mind it all being in one room, but I wish it was about two to three feet wider.

I love the window above the sink 😍unfortunately my new layout puts the kitchen in the back corner leading into a living area with windows at the end of a long room. I'm jealous of your dream window!

Lol. I actually came into this thread to see what the hell happened that required the Admin to step in.
Really I would just want a whole new house but at my current one I would like a standalone pantry and a fenced in side yard. And new carpets. And more storage. Yea, I just need a new house.
We are renting a 950 square foot lake house that we will be buying eventually (it's owned by SO's family). So far we have plans to add on a master bedroom, bathroom, and closet. Currently there are two bedrooms in this house that are exactly 10 foot by 10 foot. There is one walk in closet between the two bedrooms. So we basically have no closet space and we do not have a master bedroom. I JUST WANT A NEW BEDROOM AND CLOSET. We've got a great view of the lake though.
