I surprisingly only got up once to pee last night. However, when I got up for the day, my bladder was so full that when I sneezed I really thought my water broke.
Happy Tuesday!

I fell asleep at 9:30 last night. Woke up at 4am and couldn't get back to sleep. Now I've totally hit a wall and I'm exhausted.

That meme is very accurate for me. I really don't like how much effort it takes me to get out of bed these days! I just want to beach myself on the bed all day...😂😅
Pretty good day today, although DS has been a little emotional this week. He has been very into saying no to everything and controlling/protesting every little thing. I'm so over it. Normally he snaps out of these phases after a few days, so I'm hoping that's it. He is 2.5 though, so maybe this is a taste of the threenager attitude i hear so much about? Ugh.
DH went picked up this frozen raspberry rhubarb cobbler thing from IKEA, and we baked it in the oven for dessert tonight. It was really tasty! I'm just so-so on IKEA frozen food, but this one was a winner in my book. Glad the night ended on a tasty note 😁

So after H taking care of all household chores last night and me getting a much better nights sleep - I woke up feeling so much better this morning! Still ready for baby boy to get here, but definitely not on the level of miserable I was on yesterday.
Idk if I mentioned it yesterday or not, but I called yesterday to rescheduled my weekly appointment for tomorrow morning as opposed to Thursday afternoon. I'm anxious to go since I know we'll be talking about an induction and I really wanted to reschedule so I could see one of the older midwives that I'm familiar with instead of the brand new one they had me scheduled for.

Sorry for the rough night blackmamba. Morning. I'm just hanging out with the kids. No plans for today. Two appointments tomorrow (cardiologist and OB). They're early, so I want to get everything ready tonight since we're taking DS with us.

Leaving work early for a blood work and a midwife appointment and it's such a nice day. I'm glad summer is sticking around through the weekend. Night 1 of reflux drugs was a success.

I guess I have a cold or something. IDK but I can't stop blowing my nose and I cannot breathe. This is great.

Yes. Now I just need to remember to use it. Somehow I forgot last night and again this morning. My brain is not working.

Hi ladies! Been busy I guess nesting . I'll need to catch up! Glad to see all babies decided to stay put this weekend. We hubs finally got the crib out of DS' room this weekend and reconfigured his room too. Now it feels so open and not cramped and we also attached his IKEA Busa tent and tunnel and he's all excited about his big brother room now! So that was a relief. I forgot how dominating and massive the crib looks now that it's back in our room. Certainly NMS but oh well, it was given to us so shan't complain. Also got the car seat out of the box, cleaned and washed and ready to go and a whole bunch of baby stuff laundered. Still waiting on delivery for changing pad and cases - arriving today. I dunno what I was thinking when I didn't 2-day prime them - duh! All in all, really productive several days. Not as much as I want to get done but did whatever I could. SaveSave

CoachTsWife, same on the cold symptoms. DS has been coughing a lot lately so I assume I caught something from him.

Hey peeps! Sorry I've been in and out. I am going to start training somebody on Monday to take over some of my responsibilities at work. Also, we are in the process of packing up our house so we can move in with my parents until about April/May. Also side note, 36 weeks today!!! Quick question, I need to get a little baby bathtub, right? Any recommendations? I am kind of dreading being hunched over the bathtub and I'm ok with using the kitchen sink. I just want to have a clean little baby

bootsorhearts1, and CoachTsWife, I hope you guys feel better. Something about this time of year brings on new allergies I think.

codex320, I have the whale bathtub (amazon, target, walmart, ect - I see it often) and its pretty big. You'd need to use it in the bathtub, unless I'm missing how baby bathtubs work lol. I only got it because it was a baby shower gift, otherwise I would not have spent the money on a baby bathtub and just washed her in the sink. If you'd rather, I dont think you need anything fancy for kitchen sink bathtime.

Thanks bootsorhearts1, and cythe. I had a small tub thing on my registry but I don't want to buy one and then use it a few times and then that's it. Unless I have extra cash laying around, I might just kitchen-sink-bathtime-it.

codex320, I used the whale bathtub that cythe mentioned, except we actually used it for almost 2 years for DS. I liked that it reduced the amount of water needed for a bath, and he was fine in it. We only very recently switched to using the full tub.

arimaythea, using it for 2 years isn't bad at all! Thanks for the insight. I'll keep it in my cart. I do a lot of window shopping on amazon.

We used our baby bath tub on the counter in the bathroom at first (it has a removable little sling part) and then in the tub once she started splashing more and could sit up better to cut down on water by not filling the whole tub. We used it until DD was a year-ish I'd guess

Today was DD's "friends party" for her birthday (she turned 3 on the 8th). We had a blast but I am exhausted after hosting and cleaning up and everything. She is just playing with her presents now while I sit and watch thankfully.
