I quoted the wrong post. Because I'm an idiot.
But.... hopefully people can figure out what i meant.

Do you guys drink any alcohol during the stimming/retrieval cycle. My RE didn't have any issue with occasional drinks. I've read you should stay far away. Curious what folks think or choose to do.

hoosiermama76, Ugh, I'm so sorry. I don't have any advice but I hope your November cycle is better. mela99, I hope your next beta is better. This can be so incredibly stressful. happyin14, Doing the injections by myself scared me at first but I got used to them quickly. Are they all sub q shots? Those are so much easier. I'm going to be doing IM shots soon for my FET and since DH travels for work, I have to do them by myself.

My RE didn't have any issues with it either but I didn't drink alcohol nor did I drink caffeine. I figured I could avoid it for awhile just in case it gave me a better outcome.

happyin14 , jumping in on your question to birch113 to share my understanding - the window for implantation is really fairly narrow, so for the average person, implanting, say, a 5 day embryo in a day 7 uterine lining would likely ruin any chance the embryo has to implant during the correct time. Occasionally people have a slightly unusual implantation window (which they may have figured out after an endometrial receptivity test) but the average person would want to transfer a 5 day embryo on the 5th day of progesterone to have the proper timing for implantation. So a mistake like the nurse made could very well lead to a wasted embryo transfer. What she said! The day you start progesterone trucks your body into thinking it’s ovulated, and that generally gives you a very short 24ish hour window for implantation 5 days later. Starting progesterone even a day early or late would cause you to miss that window. The only caveat like daisy818 said is that some women require a bit more or less time on progesterone, but that can only be determined by an Endometrial Receptivity Array.

hoosiermama76 I’m so sorry your cycle was cancelled. My first FET (and both cancelled FETs after that) were without Lurpron. Transfer is 5 days after starting progesterone. For my / my clinic, I’m on estrace and Baby Aspirin 2 weeks 5 days for starting progesterone

Can you not speak to your RE about coming in mid cycle, birch113 ? Your nurse makes me angry for you. TP to her. And this cycle is going to totally work for you! I just know it. <3 bonzo , you are still doing the all Menopur cycle, right? I am FX so hard this cycle works out a lot better than last. You are getting so close, jense927 . Hope the next two weeks fly by. I am so sorry, hoosiermama76 . Was your lining a 7 and triple stripe? The same thing happened to me with thinning lining and a drop in estrogen. I was doing a natural cycle so mine was due to ovulating. Sorry you have to cycle again. Hang in there. ((HUGS)) I miss you, lemonliz . I'm sorry you are stuck in limbo. IF can go fuck itself, seriously. Good luck with your SHG next month, skidevil87 . Lots of PCOS grads if you do have it. Are you going to do more testing other than the SHG? Time on BCP seems to drag on forever, bananas22 . Good luck starting Lupron. Hope it's not too bad for you. Ok I have to admit that DH has done all of my injections, but I have heard it is so much easier (and hurts less) when you do them yourself. DH wants me to be involved and feels like he is going through it too if he gives me my shots. *major eye roll* I honestly would rather do them myself and I think the anticipation would be less. The shots really are NBD after you do a few. Eep I can't believe you are getting started, daisy818 . So excited for you. mela99 , When do you have your repeat beta? I'm sorry your beta did not double the way it should. Hang in there. Also, I suggest you read the group rules. Please either include your beta news and/ or loss under a spoiler warning, or **trigger mentioned** .... **end mention** as we don't want to upset anyone who is having a bad IF day.
