Sorry for all the rough nights!
Mine was actually good but I was up early for Orangetheory and my husband was being a prick for a change so that was fun. I actually haven't even showered yet so I should probably do that and get my ass to the office.

I do! They're a little thick, so they aren't fun in heat, but other than that I think they work great!

Oh course Kohl's is having their baby sale right now and I got a 20% off coupon too... I'm annoyed it's not 30% but I'll take it.

Just going to throw another Italian dish idea out there,,, eggplant parm is a huge hit at my family parties. danibSorry for the shitty nights everyone! As for teeth grinding, E went through a phase. I think it's just another thing they explore. "Hey, I have these things now in my mouth and they make noise and cause a weird sensation! I'm going to do it over and over and over again! And bonus if it gets a reaction out of mom!"

kleigh ditto what everyone else said about it being a phase. I wouldn't offer a paci if she doesn't already take one. It'll just be one more thing you have to break her from later.

I slept like shit again last night. Seriously, I haven't slept well in over a month. I'm going to get another pillow on my lunch today to see if that helps any. I always have pillow issues.
I really hope it's not the wine. I'll die if I have to give up my wine.

Will she do major damage with the grinding? I was trying to avoid damage but like you said I'm lucky she doesn't have a paci crutch (she'll take it to sleep only but if it falls out she doesn't care and doesn't need it to fall back asleep and she doesn't use it during the day except randomly if she finds her brothers)

Keep an eye on it and if she continues doing to I'd bring it up to the pedi at her 12 mo appt. Maybe offer her other things to chew on, if she'll take anything.

PW sorry. AV keeps grinding her top and bottom teeth. What gives? I let her have a pacifier to try to prevent it but she doesn't rely on one and I'm hesitant to start that habit. B went through this phase, although he was a bit older. Drove. Me. Crazy. The more I asked him to stop, the more he did it, so just do your best to ignore. I know, I know, it's awful and almost impossible to do. eta: I see this has been covered.

Morning!
I'm sitting here chowing down on a banana nut muffin and having a 2nd cup of coffee. Team Rough Night here, too. C was up literally every 2 hours. I am blaming it on being overtired b/c she missed her afternoon nap yesterday. She's napping now, hopefully we can get back on track today.
Dinner is on (crockpot pulled pork) and I am browsing for some new fall hair bows for Miss C online. I should probably do something useful and/or just quit spending money, I've been on a spree lately.

So I eat lunch with 3 other gals at work. They aren't on my team but we're in the same department. Anyway, I think I need to not eat lunch with them anymore which makes me sad. It's really just one co-worker who I think I need to separate myself from. She's really negative and complains about pretty much everything and talks a lot of shit about people behind their backs. She makes really uncomfortable comments about other people's physical appearance, too. And also her boyfriend is an asshole. It makes me sad because I really like the other 2 ladies, but I just can't handle this one co-worker anymore. I'll call out her BS and she just doubles down on it. It's really weird and kind of awkward, honestly.

Also can I just say that it is so annoying when you've been requesting documents from someone for over a month and after you cc their manager so they finally respond and it's this nonsense: "This was already sent to you, but here it is again..." "Thank you. But when did you send it? I didn't receive anything." "Well, I can't find the email, but I know I sent it to you."

That's really big of you to separate yourself from her jubilantsquirrel. There's enough negativity in this world.

I'm sitting in my car at home because M fell asleep on the way from the office. I should have woken her up as soon as I pulled in but I selfishly decided to have some quiet time instead. This will probably bite me in the ass this afternoon but I'll deal with that then.

She isn't calling people bitches or anything like that, but I found myself leaving lunch feeling drained and a little irritated and it took my a while to figure out why. I was talking to my co-worker friend (I wouldn't normally talk about co-workers with other co-workers but we're friends outside of work too) and mentioned how I was feeling. She said she noticed the same thing with this co-worker. They used to run together a lot but my friend had to step back for basically the same reasons.

jubilantsquirrel That sucks that you have to stop eating with the other two girls but sometimes people like that are not worth it. It's amazing how removing negativity from your life can change you.

jubilantsquirrel I've known people like that and you're right, they just put you in a funk. I had to leave our old neighborhood's FB group because it was literally people just complaining about something minor in almost every post. I started hating the neighborhood--which was actually very nice--because of all the bitching, until I realized what was causing me to feel that way. Sorry you'll miss the other 2, maybe they will see the light and join you!

Sometimes I feel like my days are an endless cycle of feeding children, cleaning up meals, then wrestling a kid down for a nap or bed.
DH is going on a weekend fishing trip with some friends starting tmrw, and I'm outwardly like, yeah it's cool, have fun. But inwardly I'm like, "noooooooooo. Don't leave me!"
