DH put DS1 down for a nap while I gave DS2 a bottle. DH; DS2, and I all then followed suit and took a nap. I feel more human now after the shit sleep we've had the past week

Today was a beautiful day. I took ds and the dog for a walk and then visited my grandma's grave with him to put flowers down.
When we got home, we ate lunch and then we had an hour nap together. He went right back down after a quick side nursing session.
I'm enjoying just relaxing in bed beside him but I really want to make myself an ice cream cone. And the ice cream truck it taunting me going up and down the street.

mikaela20 ice cream sounds delicious right now! C and DH spent the day at my in laws house. C didn't nap well while there - H said every time he fell asleep and they set him down, he'd wake up. He is pretty fussy right now - hoping he'll take a decent afternoon/early evening nap. We're grilling for dinner, and I might have a drink or two.

I'm thinking of an ice cream blizzard as an evening snack!

I'm so glad you got a nap and that your DS went right back down mikaela20! Has he been sleeping better at all lately?

I'm so glad you got a nap and that your DS went right back down mikaela20! Has he been sleeping better at all lately? Yes a bit better. Mostly wakes up every 2-3 hours motn. But every once in a while he sleeps a 4-5 hour stretch! All in his crib and sometimes on my chest if its close to our wake up time. We finally got meds for his reflux and we are seeing a big improvement. He still refuses his naps most of the time but when he is awake he is happy and attentive and not colicky at all. Are you getting good sleep motn?

Still working on her bottle refusal, but at least we're all well rested for those battles

Good think you are both well rested though Sent from my SM-G900W8 using Tapatalk

H is watching Great Outdoors and the baby is asleep on my chest. I think it's time for me to close my eyes too.

We are coming out of the 6 week growth spurt and I swear to God that I feel like I am engorged all the damn time. Nursing is hard. I wish my body would regulate faster.
Both boys are asleep right now and H took DD to the store. What to do with this quiet?

We usually do our last 3 hour stretch in bed like this too. She sleeps on her own for 6-7 (7.5 last night!!!!) and then I feed and we fall asleep burping for the last stretch of sleep.

Spent a few hours with my parents today while H worked. (C had seen all 4 grandparents this weekend!) My dad volunteered to watch him for an hour or so while mom and I went to lunch. That was awesome!
Of course, C doesn't nap well when we aren't at home, so other than two 40-ish minutes in the carseat, he hasn't napped since about 9:30 this morning. He finally just feel asleep (it's around 6 here now) so I think tonight's going to be one if those nights we wake him to feed him and put him back to bed. (Which means I'll probably end up with an extra wake up tonight.) We are much better about getting out and going places now, we just have to figure out schedules/sleeping while out of the house!

My whole family is sick except for H, so we've been a snotty, cranky mess for two days. I hope this doesn't last long 😷
