I don't know what's gotten into me but if I keep purging like this we'll all be left with the clothes on our back sitting in an empty house... Kinda like this

melaniesue I am cracking up at your party crashing! Did you keep the gift to give to the kid today or had you already put it on the table and left in out of embarrassment? xolastunicornxo you look great in all of them but I love #1!

In fact, I think I'm moving toward a "uniform" wardrobe for myself because I need my every day to be easy. I'm considering threading my closet of anything that doesn't fit into the confines of what I will wear each day.

I've been purging but it's hard because I think of the what if situations and don't want to spend money on more clothes I will wear for certain situations (formal dresses etc) I have a lot of casual dresses in my bedroom closet, and then I've all of these shirts that only go with specific styles of pants or sweaters that only look right if I have this kind of shirt on under it. You know what I mean? It was fine when I had time to consider what I was wearing, but decision fatigue with kids is real, and I'd like to still look put together without having to think so much. I'm leaning toward two pairs of dark jeans and 1 million pairs of black leggings. I bought a handful of tunics this past week, and which ever one washes best I will buy multiples of each in two or three colors. My goal is to put something like that on each day with different shoes, scarves, or open cardigans to style them differently.

I took that sucker back! I hope they didn't have to pay for us. As soon as I figured it out I left. Luckily I could bribe her to leave with the promise of seeing Cadence.

melaniesue, I love that story! xolastunicornxo, I vote dress 3. DS scored 2 goals today! He also got his first hit that made him go down for a few minutes and made the coaches go onto the ice. He's fine, I'm not.

Lol melaniesue . Sounds like something I'd do. guster and vino I'm constantly purging. We have a giant tote right outside our garage door that we fill up for Goodwill all the time. I just emptied out a toy box. I just can't stand clutter. Now if only I could get MH to not stand clutter. As far as clothes, I know I could get rid of more, but I go through them regularly too. I need two sets of work clothes and one of them if for 2 seasons so that makes it hard to cut back too much, but mostly I wear nothing but black leggings in the winter with a sweater for work or t-shirt with flannel when not at work whenever it's not summer. I really don't care about fashion so that helps. I'm like the dude wives complain about who just wants to wear screen print shirts and flannels, but that's what I live for so

I was so annoyed at our 1SG yesterday. We had to be at work early but that didn't stop him from chastising us for lame reasons at the end of the day yesterday and making us stand in formation for 35 minutes. Way to thank us for our 12 hour day douchebag. His insecurity is strong. *Must remind myself of GI Bill for the kids and retirement benefits*

I used to be such a clothes horse Rarely repeating outfits, loved shopping, always in style, then I started staying home and it's taken me this long to realize how I want to dress each day. When I would have breaks from school, my daytime dress, unless we were going out, was always comfortable clothes -- yoga pants and tank tops or sweatshirts. I fell right back into that trap for almost 3 years. I think I found the happy balance between being comfortable in the house, but dressed to go out to the coffee shop or the playground, and still look pulled together w/o having to change.

I just purged DD's clothes. Kid was hoarding 4T clothes. She is 7. Remember how I was stressing getting her long shorts? I left out an outfit Friday and when I picked her up, she was in her short shorts. (I leave for work before she gets up.) She said no one at school said anything.

Hey! We went to the children's museum after lunch. It's their anniversary so they have free admission. H had a blast. S mostly clung to DH. We had ice cream and are now headed back home.

Hello!
Normal Sunday morning of cleaning and laundry, went for a nice walk before lunch and then raced to Meet a Machine before J's nap. It was so good, not to busy and B had a blast.
Then in the next parking lot over was an RV show, now we're planning when to but a truck and RV trailer, I cannot wait. We already found a layout that we love with bunks of course that B loved.

I don't think I said congrats cagoldi! I hope the shock has worn off and excitement has set in. I'm like, 8% excitement and 92% panic still. Pete has decided that he needs to sell some stock so we can build out our loft and create an extra room. So. We're feeling really overwhelmed with the logistics. I truly cannot afford another baby. I'm not feeling physically or emotionally equipped to do this right now. That ended up being pretty DD. Anyway. I guess I have until early May to get my head straight about it.

Totally understandable cagoldi, it's a huge life change that was not only unexpected but literally affects every part of you life, including even a reno of your home to make space. Thinking of you and we're here for the excitement, vents and dear diary posts.

I'm sorry you're feeling overwhelmed about the baby cagoldi. It's understandable with what you think you have to do to prepare. I hope things come together smoothly so you can feel better about it. Do you have the option of moving into a bigger place? Or just a place with a better layout for your family?
