I'm sitting and watching my husband and son go on rides at an local amusement park. There are very few rides I can go on which is a bummer. It's fun watching my son though. It's a beautiful day. What is everyone up to today?

We are still working on getting our house ready to sell. H is working on replacing the deck, I hope we can finally finish it this weekend. I'd really like to be moved in and settled in our new house well before December. Since I'm not much of a help with deck building, I plan on laundry and starting a new book a friend gave me last night. It's called Big Little Lies, anyone read it?

I'm running errands while H works. I need to get my new wedding and sized up (it's way too tight, but it's because it's so high up on my finger) so I have to go another week without it. Thank goodness I have the plastic ones for work so I'm just wearing that.
Old Navy is having a big sale so I'm going to check on some maternity clothes.
Then we have 1:30 tickets to the new pirates movie.
And then we are going to be under Tornado warning all night. Fun stuff.

Just came home from a long lunch on a terrace with friends, and it was so lovely.
I've been avoiding going out because it would be obvious I'm not drinking so it was really liberating to be with people who know. Also the restaurant does amazing virgin mojitos and I didn't even miss wine!

How are you ladies hiding the massive bloat? My baggy shirts aren't helping anymore, and I'm not announcing until mid June

I think it's pretty obvious to anyone who pays attention, but luckily no one is saying anything. I think we should have a hump day blump day on wed to compare. Edit to add that I'm not planning on announcing anytime soon so it's extra awkward for me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Also, HBO just made a miniseries based on Ymir, which was also really good. I like most of Liane Moriarty's books. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I've started wearing those more recently. I hope to not announce to my work until late June and publicly sometime in July

Just got DD down for her nap. I'm tempted to nap with her, but feel bad that dh is doing hard yard work. I think I'll try to clean, which is much needed. FFSC: I don't know when the last time I mopped was!

There really isn't hiding it much longer and my next step is maternity clothes.

Some days I feel like I do a better job of hiding it than others...will probably stop trying so hard to keep it a secret if all looks well at our next appt in 2 weeks.

I read some of the reviews for the pants and I was a little leery buying them. I ususally wear their curvy pants but I couldn't get any in the maternity sizes and I wasn't sure what to do. I did buy a couple of things from the motherhood store. They were a little more expensive though. Luckily my son was born in January so I have some maternity clothes for the fall. But I needed some things to wear for summer.

I got really lucky with maternity clothes since I am the last of my friends to be KU. I received the hand-me-downs from 3 people so I think I'm set. I just have to dig them all out from the vacuum storage bags under my bed and switch out my closet.

I got a pair of khakis that were on clearance for like $16 and a bunch of tops too. I also got three onsies for under $3 each.

We went to look at mattresses tonight on a whim. Andddd our new one is coming next weekend.
We spent more than I was expecting to but our current one is awful and I really hope a new one helps me sleep for a change.

Yesterday we spent most of the day at a party for friends of ours - they both got their doctorates. It was really fun, except I felt super nauseous during the whole thing, spent a ton of time in the bathroom, and even used their guest room to lie down. (The friends in question know, but the rest of the guests don't yet.) Tonight my friends are having a game night and so I'm trying to plan my day so I get a good nap in before we need to leave so I can hopefully last beyond like 9pm. I am making a cookie pizza for dessert and realized after checking Amazon for the weight I technically shouldn't be moving my KitchenAid around. For me, this is both hilarious and sad (my KitchenAid is basically my spirit animal). I had H move it for me but it still feels weird. (Amazon says it's 26 pounds, and while that could be with the bowl and accessories it ships with, I'm not willing to take the chance.) rooskie - new mattresses are the best! You will sleep so much better! sarahandben108 - This is also me. Maxi dresses are not my friend. I wish they were, they look so comfy... ldubhawksfan - Nap is always the answer!
