I must have tried to roll on my stomach some in my sleep. I woke up to baby kicking at the mattress and now he's apparently wide awake kicking away so I can't fall back asleep.

Good morning ladies!
I am hanging out on the couch waiting to leave to drop G off at the center. While she is there I am going run to target for the supplies they asked for. I am also going to get myself an iced tea and relax for a bit.
She is "reading" her 5 little monkeys book and yelling at them to not jump on the beds. 😂

I'm up! DD slept in today till 630 so I feel like a million bucks today. We've all been battling a nasty head cold and because of that, she's been waking up at like 5 every day. So this is like Christmas for me!!

I think we're going to head to BRU today to pick up baby bedding for the nursery. I'm nesting so hard and I neeeeeed to buy everything right now for this LO. I got a used solly wrap off the FB BST page and can't wait for that to come in so I can practice!

Morning!
Work told us yesterday we should hopefully be able to have the option to work from home 3 days a week by the beginning of the new year. I am soooo excited about this and hoping it works out. My commute one way can be anywhere form 40 to 1 hr 10 minutes depending on traffic.

Last night I went to my BIL's restaurant with DD and my best friend. DD is in an awesome phase where she looooves restaurants. She was all smiles and laughing the whole time, excited to be in the high chair and waving and laughing at the golden cat that waves its arm back and forth. And then we went to pay and BIL had told the waiter to erase our check. Surprise free dinner! And the food was amazing! All around successful evening.
I think the painters are finished with the baby room today, so of course all I want to do is BUY ALL THE RUGS AND DRESSERS AND DECORATE YAY! But I'm playing it cool. Like, oh, done? Ok cool. That's nice. Maybe I'll go look for a rug now...

Morning!
I ended up taking DS to the doctor yesterday after being concerned that a rash was spreading all over his body after being sick the last couple days (but much more energy back yesterday too) and she just thinks it's part of the virus running his course so just hoping everything passes soon!
So just chilling out yet again today, even though he's acting even less sick today than yesterday so that's good.
I'm also part of the group hoping to get to the city tomorrow to buy the last things we need to switch the kids rooms around as well as a few other things I'd like to hit up!
It's supposed to be HOT for us this time of year for the next few days (and the last few have been) before it starts to feel like fall more in the next week or so. Such a hot and dry summer here, but winter always finds its way ha.

Our contractor stopped by today and we finalized plans for the master bathroom renovation that starts tomorrow! This was supposed to happen 2 years ago but he was out for surgery and then we postponed due to Ava being sick. This isn't great timing but I'm not postponing this again, nope, nope, nope.
The dumpster got dropped of a little bit ago and we are going to take advantage of it being here and clean out the garage and storage area of the basement. Lots of empty amazon boxes and things that we really don't need taking up space....

aprilz81, We did a big reno when I was pregnant with DD. We expanded the master closet and reconfigured DD's room and redid all the floors so we lived in the basement for a few months. It sucked at the time but was so worth it to have it done before she came.

Hi All! Still in hurricane prep hell here. We're in Zone C and they evacuated Zone A. They have to leave from 6am tomorrow until at least 6am Tuesday. They'll make a decision on us later. SO MUCH NOPE. We have 2 dogs, 3 cats, a 2 year old and I'm 21 weeks pregnant. Fml.

So I keep getting an itch in the middle of my back. I am currently using a ruler to scratch it. DH reminded me the other night that this happened last pregnancy too. I wonder if it is happening because it's hard to reach? Who knows. There is no rash or anything, it's just itchy every once in a while.

Hello! I had a coffee social after DD1's preschool dropoff which was kind of hell for me because I am awkward and not at all social 😂 I have been having a lot of back and neck pain and would love to go to a chiropractor but I can't really afford to right now. It might be time to break out the exercise ball though, ouch!

Hi! Today was DD's first day of preschool! She did so great, cried a little at dropoff but that's it and she didn't have any accidents!! Now I have to wake her from her nap to go pick up something I bought off a yard sale site |

DS pooped in the potty, which is my win for the day(ok actually for the week, maybe even month)! He's been holding it for naps/bedtime when he wears a pull up, and we're in our third month since we potty trained. But tonight after dinner he totally nailed it! Please let this continue. People in my part of NC are starting to freak out about Irma, so there's already been a run on groceries. We're in the central part of the state, and I just can't imagine things getting too bad. We've got enough bottled water (flavored bottled water, but still) to last us a longgggg time. I don't feel a big urge to stock up on the basics...Maybe I'm being naive. In other news, I got a new nephew this morning! He looks so much like my BIL it is absurd. My DS is a mini-me, so I assumed MH's family had weak genes or something haha. Not the case apparently. hiimjamie I hope it stays safe enough for you to stay home! |

If she's smaller than DD was, then the seasons might match up. But my hopes aren't high for that. Looks like I've got some shopping to do!

If she's smaller than DD was, then the seasons might match up. But my hopes aren't high for that. Looks like I've got some shopping to do! I should probably go through our stuff too, because I'm nervous for the same thing. Everyone's always like "how nice you already have all boy and girl stuff!" Like on my bikini line. I don't remember them this low with DS. But I also found out I have an anterior placenta at my A/S so that might be why I only feel movement low. |
