You've probably all talked about this in other threads, but o hope you'll humor me. I just started tracking macro nutrients and supposedly I need to be getting a lot more of my calories from protein than I usually do. Like I need to double my percentage.
I don't really like eating meat so I get most of my protein from eggs, nuts, and yogurt. I know I should probably eat more legumes. Anything else I haven't thought of? Do I just need to seriously step up my protein smoothie game?

Peanut butter? Beans? Cheese?
I'm going to follow this since I'm leaning towards tracking macros once this baby gets here and I'm ready to get my shit back together.

I'm obsessed with Good Culture brand cottage cheese. I don't think it had any more protein than other brands, but I like that it's less liquid.
It's full fat, but really filling. 1/2 cup is 14g protein and 90 calories.

My go-tos have been cottage cheese and eggs together, chicken, nuts, cheese, and deli turkey. I buy the higher protein oatmeal. I have to supplement as well, so I do protein smoothies twice a week and also have protein bars on hand at work in case I need to squeeze in more and have the calories to spare. Oh, and the Oikos Triple Zero Greek yogurts. I like those, and I mostly hate Greek yogurt. They are awesome. They are actually too sweet for my liking and I prefer to mix them 50/50 with plain Greek yogurt. I don't bother with smoothies. Just mix powder with liquid and drink it. No need to over complicate. Unless you want to use egg whites and really step up your game. If you are going to get more from legumes, make sure you have some rice with it to create a more complete protein.

Oh, tofu. I used to have that in the fridge all the time but have forgotten about it. Must add to grocery list. So what protein powders do you guys like? @shinyredsmartazz, GhoatMonket,

Turkey jerky! I like Krave brand. Fish/seafood. A whole can of tuna has 30 grams of protein for 120 calories.
I don't have anything else to add that hasn't already been said. This thread reminds me that I need to pick up cottage cheese, I haven't had it in a while & love it.

I've been trying to up this too. I find cottage cheese the easiest way to do it so far, but I definitely would like to buy some powder just for the convenience factor.

I like the Julian bakery egg white protein powder. The espresso and cinnamon roll flavors are really good. They have 21 g protein in each scoop.
