GTKY: What was your favorite moment or thing you did this past summer? I won the women's national championship for our class of sailboat. I'm super competitive and sailing is a great outlet for me, so I was really proud.

Favorite moment with my kid was taking him to the ocean for the first time and seeing it through his eyes.

Symptoms: So gassy. Bleh. Some nausea and still so tired

Rants/Raves/Vents: I had spotting this past weekend (which has since stopped), which really freaked me out. I can find baby's heartbeat on my doppler everyday and pretty quickly. So, I'm starting to relax a little bit again.

GTKY: What was your favorite moment or thing you did this past summer? We had family pictures done a few weeks ago. I won the photo shoot through a contest by a local photographer. It was a lifestyle shoot and ended up being so much fun.

Symptoms:  Nausea is still kicking my butt.

Milestones:  So close to the 2nd trimester.  Yet so far.

Rants/Raves/Vents:  I thought my nausea was getting better but it was so bad this past weekend.  I'm so over it.
 
GTKY: What was your favorite moment or thing you did this past summer?  Taking my daughter to Sesame Place for her second birthday.  Seeing how happy meeting Elmo and seeing the parade made her was like the greatest thing ever.

Symptoms: Nausea, though it's not as bad as my last pregnancy. I don't know if I should be excited or worried.

Milestones: we told our parents this week.

Rants/Raves/Vents: just waiting for that appointment. I just want to see a heartbeat.

GTKY: We did a lot of cool stuff, took the toddler to fireworks and fishing for the first time. She did so good on our family vacation up north. We had a good summer.

Milestones: saw baby in ultrasound with a heartbeat!

Rants/Raves/Vents: Approx. 12 people have asked me if we were going to have another baby since I've known about this pregnancy. It sucks lying to them but let me tell you on my own time!!

GTKY: What was your favorite moment or thing you did this past summer?
We take a yearly vacation to a "resort" with cabins on the lake up in Minnesota with my whole family. I've been going since I was 3. DD went for the 1st time when she was 5w old. There's no air conditioning, no tv, no internet, limited cell service. Just time on the lake and with family. It's total bliss.

Appointments: had one on 9/1 - got to see baby and hb, have my next appt on 9/29

Symptoms: general yuck all day, feel a ton of pressure in my bottom - which is weird.. I'm the opposite of constipated.. so maybe trapped gas? Pregnancy is SO glamorous, yall.

Milestones: Saw hb on ultrasound!

Rants/Raves/Vents: I hate complaining about feeling gross, but I do. And Everything is sore. I have no libido, I feel almost depressed. I know it's just hormones, and the seasons/weather changing, but yeah. Hurry up 2nd tri.

GTKY: What was your favorite moment or thing you did this past summer? -- We took the kids to Disney in May (we'll pretend that's summer) and when my oldest was watching the fireworks, you could just see how happy he was -- he looked at me and said 'this is the best day of my life, thank you mommy'.

Appointments: none until 9/19

Symptoms: still nauseous, though I'm fearful to attempt stopping b6+unisom.   And fatigue.  Oh the fatigue.

Milestones: told my FIL this last weekend! And some other family.

Rants/Raves/Vents: I'm in a tough spot - going to a baby shower this weekend, with a bunch of my husband's family who don't know. This is #3, and though I'm overweight, I definitely look pregnant. I know I should have told them already, to get over this, but I didn't feel comfortable before 12w. I guess I will email or call them.

GTKY: What was your favorite moment or thing you did this past summer?
My daughter M (20m) has been getting carsick all summer. So we haven't gone anywhere, basically. But we live downtown in our tiny town, and someone started a painted rocks project (paint, hide, find, rehide, and there's a FB page to post photos), which has been really fun for both me and the kids.

Team: Finding out. Had my Mat21 drawn last week, so I should know end of this week beginning of next.

Appointments: Had normal OB yesterday and heard good HB. Had first u/s with my Mat21 and a beautiful baby with a heart beat last week.

Symptoms: Actually feeling really good. Tired mostly.

Milestones: Such a relief getting past that first u/s.

Rants/Raves/Vents: This is not a happy one. We found out my mom's cancer is spreading and growing and she is terminal. She isn't responding to chemo. She's already very weak and ill as it is. She was 9 months pregnant with me when her mom died, and I'm scared history will repeat itself. I hope she lives long enough to meet her last grandchild.

GTKY: What was your favorite moment or thing you did this past summer? Getting my BFP.

Appointments: next Friday, I had appointments every 2 weeks with the RE over the first several weeks. Now that I'm with my OB, waiting 4 weeks between appointments is torture.

Symptoms: not sleeping well all of a sudden, boobs are sore again, acne

Rants/Raves/Vents: 1. My MIL thinks it's okay to pat my belly all the time. 2. A patient's mom asked me if I was pg yesterday. I was walking down the hall toward her from about 30 feet away and she said she could tell because of my pregnant walk. Cool.

GTKY: What was your favorite moment or thing you did this past summer? Spending time with family/friends on an island on Lake Erie. We go up for a few weekends every summer and it's always a blast. Hanging out with everyone, pool bars, day drinking, night drinking, etc. Although being there this summer was uhh different since I've been pregnant. Not a lot of sober people on that island.

Rants/Raves/Vents: My dad is recovering well from his heart attack. The doctor's continue to be amazed how well he is doing. He is now off the vent!

GTKY: What was your favorite moment or thing you did this past summer? Going up north with my family for my dad's birthday a couple weeks ago.

Appointments: thyroid follow up tomorrow, I almost forgot.

Symptoms: the fatigue is so bad. I feel like I could fall asleep mid sentence standing up at times.

Milestones: passing 12 weeks.

Rants/Raves/Vents: I went for a scan at 10+5 and was measuring 11+1 so they did my IPS. I feel a little weird not having seen baby since then since I've announced, but I'm assuming everything's still going well. The paranoia never stops.

GTKY: What was your favorite moment or thing you did this past summer? I think just seeing DS flourish and grow more into his personality. He's so darling, funny and sweet.
