My kid just smacked me across the face, punched and kicked me while at a party because h went on a four wheeler ride without him. I'm clearly upset and h thinks I'm being ridiculous for being upset.

Omg, @martini Did you guys say anything to her? I was going to but MH grabbed my arm and asked me not to. At least we've landed back home now and the trip is almost over. I'm so sorry that you two had to deal with that, at all, but especially at the last part of your vacation. People suck. You guys took the high road, which is admirable. |

I'm sitting on the deck watching the kids play with the water table. They're playing so well together. This toy is definitely one of the best purchases we've ever made. All I'm missing is a drink.

I've been busy getting everything packed for our trip to Florida tomorrow. We're about to take the dog to a boarding place for the first time and I'm irrationally worried about it. But it's not like we can leave her home alone so it is what it is. DID I KNOW YOU WERE COMING TO FLORIDA?? Yes, but we were probably drunk when we talked about it. St Augustine, not quite your neck of the woods. |

About to head to the wedding. With a 2pm Catholic ceremony, how long do we think I'm going to have to wait for drinks and hors d'ouvres? I always hit up a bar between the ceremony and reception for catholic weddings. Also, I kind of hate catholic weddings for this. At least the receptions are usually boss. Update: we went to a bar in between the ceremony & reception. The wine they are serving is atrocious, but I'm managing a solid buzz anyway. |
