It's so nice to be able to claim bedtime for the toddler and leave places sometimes. Dinner was loud. Loud neighbors brought their 4 year old granddaughter. She was intense. Loud and rude. She didn't listen to direction and they just sat there and said my 8 year old niece could watch her 😒 Kid told my SIL to shut up and I ended up putting M's toys up when she wouldn't share them.

redandblue, oh hell no to transitioning from the crib! I think E will be in it until he's 5. J/k but it isn't happening anytime soon here! I do look forward to it though, I guess. Ours is old and a pain in the butt to lift him into/out of. Also, then if he is in a regular bed, I can just lay down and fall asleep when he needs some MOTN cuddles.

In fairness I don't want to think about moving M from his crib, but am desperate with ideas to get out of our current regression with bedtime. I do think I need to get some room darkening curtains. I totally feel like M will be the kid who climbs everything and destroys a room, once in a bed.

The forecast for the weekend was a total mind f*ck when trying to plan things out. Looks like it will be the same this weekend. 😣

Went to the inlaws Saturday afternoon. Took the kids to a new park and then out to dinner. Yes, those are cocoa encrusted nuts in the salad. 😄

Sunday was a lazy day. H got home around 9 or 10 and we didn't do anything until after K napped. Went out to dinner and then grocery shopped for today.

DD3 started on reflux meds today, and while I really don't want her to have reflux bc that means she's been in pain this whole time, I am hoping it improves her demeanor. It is emotionally exhausting having a baby that cries all the time no matter what you do. I was definitely spoiled with the first 2. And you know it's bad when H, who is unfazed by almost anything and would be thrilled with 20 kids, says that maybe DD3 is a sign that we shouldn't have anymore kids. Glad we're on the same page. Hope they help

I was hoping that we would get out to a parade today, but it was cancelled due to the rainy morning. Although, by the time it would have been parade time, it was gorgeous outside.

Spent most of the morning and early afternoon cleaning and prepping for dinner. Had my family and the inlaws over to grill. Cooked up way to much food.

taketheshot we have been in that phase since last fall. She basically hates food other than crackers, sweets, tortilla chips, yogurt, and fruit.

redandblue definitely try blackout curtains! I love ours and we make sure the room is dark as possible for sleep even when we travel. I think it makes such a big difference.

Has anyone else tried Simply Supper? I make them pretty often, so convenient on weekdays. BBQ Beef Sloppy Joes were shot.
