I've seen DD1 every day since she moved out. She comes over every day. It's really adorable and I'm going to miss her when I move... 10 minutes away vs an hour... I'll likely only see her once or twice a week.

E is at my moms. She picked her up last night for a sleepover but then my mom got called into a meeting today so E is with my dad until around noon when my mom will get back. Anyway, my dad just texted me to tell me that my grandmother wants to go to lunch with them but he doesn't have a car seat so can he take her about a mile away without a seat? NO. Never. No. So he says he'll have to "think of an excuse to tell my grandmother" ...like, that you don't have a car seat until later today?? What other excuse would you need

DFW is pretty much out of gasoline. DH went to look for some to fill up our car so he will have enough for work tomorrow, but there's none anywhere.

redandblue bringing it here. You should try this spot treatment. I like it because it covers them so I don't mess with them and because it doesn't dry the rest of my face out with salicylic acid. Thanks! I actually ended up using tea tree oil, and it worked surprisingly well! It's pretty much gone already! And let me tell you, it was HUGE! Like I thought a giant mole suddenly was growing on my nose! lol

I don't have much to say. But i think my motivation is already taking a long weekend ya'll. These next 2 days are going to be tough. This has pretty much been me since last September...

I left work early because I realized that I need to renew my health card and drivers license. I usually waiti until the last damn minute (birthday is 18th), but the price is going up tomorrow, so I'm damn well going to save the $6! Lmao...plus no motivation for work anyways!
Then heading home to hopefully get DS1 set up to paint his room.
That's about all I've got people! Lol

My mom went home today. It was a fun visit. Not much going on here. Hoping to do something when E wakes up.

coconutbacon oh wow that sounds awful. Schools in the city are cray. @takesashot my diamond fell out of mine a few years ago, it sucks not having it but it's good you saw it right away! I hope you feel better! mrspiatt omg what hell. Is it even going to be fixed by the time you move? So I've had pretty awful anxiety with this pregnancy (I've always struggled with it but I've been able to manage it w out meds since being out of school). I feel like I can't control it and I snap at Jake and snap at Wife and start sobbing out of nowhere. I can feel it bubbling up inside of me and it's just awful. So I finally talked to the doc today and I'm starting Zoloft tonight. He said the only risk is possible a lower birth weight but that it's very safe. I'm so relieved. He did say it could take the rest of the pregnancy to take full effect so I'm glad I'm taking it now vs PP bc I'm sure if it's this bad now it'll be bad after. Anyone have experience with Zoloft? I've only taken lexapro. Does it really take months to work?

hiimjamie- I'm getting ready to flip out on these people- I have a bunch of kitchen stuff that I want to include in the garage sale and I can't get to it. If it makes still there when we're moving it's getting torn down. I need to be able to get my stuff out of this house.

hiimjamie- I took Zoloft after A was born. It took maybe a week to start working, definitely not months. I'm glad you're taking the steps to prevent this from getting worse.

hiimjamie with all SSRIs it usually takes 2-4 weeks to see noticeable improvement. It can take ~8 weeks to recognize *full* benefit at a given dose. Zoloft is very similar to Lexapro (same drug class), just some minor differences. Hope you find it helpful! Perfect, thank you! I'm so tired of feeling like this. It's like I know I'm not myself and I can see it but I can't get there. Ugh.

Hi hiimjamie, I took a very low dose of zoloft PP, and I remember that it took effect fairly quickly (a week or two? And that was with a below-therapeutic dose).

I just called one of the companies that is supposed to be working in the house... he said that while the final report has indeed come in (for the asbestos testing), that everything needs to be submitted to insurance and approved before they can do everything and it can take weeks for that to happen. I told him they need to figure something out with that room or I will tear that shit down my self. I explained to him I don't have weeks. So he is looking into a way to seal off the ceiling and get the tent and equipment out of here

hiimjamie, I missed the first part but anecdote: I'm taking 150mg/day through this pregnancy. The MFM told me to stay on it, and that my baby won't be born with three heads. I didn't take it when I was pregnant with #3 and it was hellllllll.

Im not sure why I let things like this big me. We went to the park and the neighbor boy (who Isaac has not played with yet) was there with a friend. They are 9, going into 4th grade. They were talking and didn't believe Isaac when he told him he was 5 and going into kindergarten. After they argued with him, Isaac finally looked at me and said "mom tell them I'm going into kindergarten" 😞 one of the cons to having a tall5 yr old.

I was supposed to go to a baseball game tonight. I got dressed, drove up there
Realized I would be walking to and from my car alone, in the dark, in downtown.
Cue total panic attack.

MH got in line for daycare sign up a little after 8:30 This evening. He's number 56 in line. Apparently the first people got there at 11:15am. Last year it started at 3pm but there wasn't anything significant until 10:30. This just gets more intense every year. Wtf? Bright side is he's #21 for 3's. FX that will be good enough to get a spot.
