My mirror is always dirty especially since the kids can access it haha, but DD was being super cute while I was trying to take a pic this morning.

Otherwise not too much exciting today. I've been making a ton of little but necessary purchases lately and I feel bad, but nothing has been random. I guess 'tis the season to start thinking about things (I'm like, online nesting between Halloween, Christmas, baby, upcoming kid's friend's birthday parties, family photos, and the big bedroom changes haha-I just want to get it all done!)

Hello!
I am super tired today. I don't know why. G has her ST and her teacher today so she should nap great after lunch.
MH has a class to take at work today so he will be late coming home for his break. He usually does nap time so I am kind of sad that he isn't here. Lol.

Morning,
My kid is driving me insane. He is hell bent on either destroying the house or trying to seriously injure himself and every time I say no and explain why we don't do these things he smiles and takes it as a challenge. I'm not a yeller, and usually can keep my cool for a pretty long time but lately it's getting extremely hard and I'm losing it.
Going to take him to an indoor play cafe pretty quick to see if that helps with the energy. Later we are going to attempt to also make H a cake for his birthday

I'm really starting to wonder how I'm going to do semester start with a newborn this winter. I'm floundering right now even with DS at daycare in the mornings. I stayed up way too late chatting with an old friend about life insurance and last wills. We don't have wills yet. Do we just wait until this babe is born so we don't have to do a revision? Yes, the excitement of adulthood.

I'll post a bump after I shower, it finally popped out this past weekend! We have had the laziest day here. So much tv and DD is so crabby. I'm counting the minutes to nap time when she can sleep & I can shower and I'll probably have two cups of coffee today.
She's currently sprinting around the house singing How Far Ill Go.

tiffrobot I totally hear you on needing everything done!! Now that I know we're having a girl, I neeeeeeeeed to get the nursery done. Except it's H's office currently. And it makes no sense to kick him out to our cold unfinished basement until next year when the baby is here and she's in her own room. Between that and needing to get DD's fall wardrobe and this new baby's winter wardrobe, and get myself some warm-weather maternity stuff (all my maternity stuff is winter stuff currently), I feel like I've been buying all the things.

jessijean we just did a trust/will so that we could establish who would take guardianship of DD should anything happen. Our lawyer does it in a package and said it would be NBD and no additional cost to add our second kid when he/she arrives. Maybe check with your lawyer to see if they have a similar kind of package?

I'm so annoyed. I trucked DD to a consignment shop half an hour away to look at their maternity selection after reading on their Facebook page that they were flooded with maternity stuff... their selection was shockingly bare. I'm so mad I made the trip out there 😤

No bump here yet. I'm pre-cleaning this morning for the cleaners who should be here in 3-ish hours. I keep having to take breaks because I get a little light headed. I remember with DD I got light headed when exerting myself in the second tri too, but I feel like everything is happening earlier this time. After that I should have an easy day.

I put in my order a few weeks ago expecting it to take a while and I got it last week! They actually sent me the wrong one but sent me a return label and overnighted me the correct one. |

Hi! 20 weeks today! We'll finally find out what we're having tomorrow! Everyone at work is suddenly really excited and one of the girls if going around polling people to see what they think I'm having. She also secured a giant box, blue and pink balloons and the use is the helium room. Yeah work has a helium room. We really like balloons here. So we're apparently having a gender reveal here tomorrow. This was all hatched this morning. I just say here and watched them decide to do this. 😂 20 weeks  And AW at a few of DS's 2 year photos    |

I'll post a bump picture later after I shower...
But....
Our contractor just texted that demo will start in 7 days on our master bathroom!!!!! Project was originally scheduled to start on June 3rd, so I'm beyond ready to get started. I'm also glad he is waiting until after the weekend to start, we have a big party at the house this weekend (about 40 people) and DH's parents will be staying in our guest room. I figured with our luck he would start right before they came and we would all be trying to use one bathroom all weekend to shower and get ready. Project will take about 4 weeks and then we will have a wonderful, shiny new bathroom with 2nd floor laundry!

Also I feel like I'm the only one whose bump just looks awkwardly misshapen until like 30+ weeks??? Haha. Like I don't get the cute round little bump I get more of an oval that goes all the way up to my boobs 😂 Even though baby is still pretty low.

I feel like I have a big gut. Same!! And I know I don't actually have a huge gut (like I'm really health conscious and workout consistently & have been for a long time haha). So I guess this is just how i look pregnant. Even with DD it was so weird. I'm not one of those cute "basketball" pregnant people. |

benandjerrys I have that dress. Targets new line right? (Thanks for the tip off hiimjamie) looks great on you. I just wore it yesterday. helloerrbody I feel like we must be distant cousins. You are probably like stop being creepy, especially since I've never posted a pic, but we look similar. I won't bring it up again. I promise.

Guys I'm crossing all my fingers and knocking on all the wood, but I haven't really put DD in a diaper all week while at home, and only for van rides if we are going somewhere quick. Today she wanted to wear her underwear in the van for a few errands we had to run around town so I let her, and she let me know when she had to pee in one of the places! Eek! I'm ok with nighttime diapers for awhile because she STTN, but 4 months diaper free before January after over 4 years straight of diaper changes would sure feel like something!
Plus DS didn't potty train until DD was around 8 months old (they are closer together than this one) so the thought of only having one baby's diapers to change too is even a relief!
