How accurate do you think the "hiccup" feeling is at predicting a breech baby? I've been feeling hiccups all over the place! Low, high, depending on the day. Could baby still be spinning around in there this late in the game?

Could baby still be spinning around in there this late in the game? I think baby can still be moving around up to 36 weeks! I found out at my appointment yesterday (I am 33 weeks today) that baby had turned breech - and I swear I could feel the change because he was kicking and punching in totally different areas. I was also a lot more uncomfortable in the 2 days leading up to the appointment...it was as though he wasn't in the "right place." If that makes any sense...😅 I don't want to jinx myself, but at 2am last night i felt him do a big move and now his movement is consistent with what I was feeling before he was breech. I just feel like he has settled back into the head down position he was in before. I could be crazy though and he could still be breech. We'll find out in 2 weeks if I am right that he is head down again! Might just be wishful thinking on my part...

Taitai for some reason, your description of baby kicking and punching made me thing of someone punching & fluffing up their pillow to get comfy, and now all I can think of is baby is just trying to get comfy in there.

It's officially getting hard to get out of bed in the morning. I feel like a beetle on its back.

Taitai I felt hiccups mid-belly as I was laying in bed last night and I'm pretty sure baby was transverse. Crazy! FX both get the memo to be head down.

FX both get the memo to be head down. chitownsully, I felt hiccups up high - much higher than usual - Tuesday morning and I panicked. Luckily I had an OB appt that afternoon and my dr said it felt like (just with her hands on my belly) he is head down with his back in the area I felt the hiccups so we decided I was just feeling his back move as he hiccup'ed. I sure hope that is right! I'd felt hiccups very low previously so it really threw me off....

Hiccups are now IN my pelvis. Baby is screwing with me!

So to answer my own question, location of hiccups provides little insight into baby positioning. 😂

Omg, my left hip flexor is on fire today. I don't know if its from the walking we did yesterday or what, but I can barely walk.
Also tons of RLP today. Oof. Sitting with my legs up for the rest of the day I think.
