I just bought my husband a squatty potty. He seems a bit offended by it. I, on the other hand, am super excited lol I need one. We have tall toilets and my feet don't touch the ground when I sit on ours and I hate that.

maddisonrose, how are you doing? Did you get any more clarification about the baby's sex and the U/S?

DD is having a rough day. A rough few weeks actually. Pretty much since she turned two. Sigh.
Anyway she usually goes down for her nap at 11:30 or 12. So I put her in the crib at 11:30 after lunch and she screamed and cried. She's still in a diaper at naptime, so I went up there, changed it (it was wet), got her back in her sleep sack and left the room. Still talking/singing an hour later (1:30ish) so I went up there. She had taken off her sleep sack and her diaper, then peed on the sleep sack. WTF kid. We only have one sleep sack and she won't sleep without it. So I took her down, washed and dried the sleep sack, blankets, pillow, sheets, etc. Everything had pee on it. I finally got her to go back in her crib at 3:30 and she's just fallen asleep. Of course she's got a playdate at 4.
I really really really would like a glass of wine.

maddisonrose, how are you doing? Did you get any more clarification about the baby's sex and the U/S? Doing a lot better since the initial shock of it all, thank you for asking 😊I haven't heard back from the high risk OB so can't ask for another ultrasound just yet but I'm hoping I can soon!

Also, I just ate an entire pint of ice cream while catching up on this thread. So thank you for that, everyone! stephne I also just lol at your story. Happy Monday haha.

Hi all! I have been insanely busy. We went to my uncles lake house over the weekend. Then we got stuck in traffic last night so our 2 hour drive home became 4 hours. By the time we got home we put G to bed and then I was going to relax for awhile but ended up falling asleep. Today was a long day at work. The I came home and cooked dinner. I am exhausted. I have my AS tomorrow at 10. I am pretty excited about it.

I almost opened up a bottle yesterday just so I could take a sip but I didn't want to waste it since my H doesn't like wine. I want this many glasses 🍷🍷🍷

Made it through my first day back at work. It was pretty rough, got sick before I left but made it through. I am so exhausted... DS had swim class and my husband brought him by himself. First time I've missed it, but I got to take a nap. Hopefully my body adjusts soon.

Morning! We're just hanging out right now watching Dory, gonna do some grocery shopping in a bit and then try to do some cleaning. I'm trying to space out all activities so I don't over do it but man bedrest with a toddler is HARD. I'm also losing all motivation to plan and make dinners. What's on the menu for y'all this week? I only know because we just got back from shopping 😂 - kale, bacon, and sundried tomato pasta - Thai drunken noodles - lemon herb Mediterranean chicken salad - chipotle chicken with avocado sauce Our last few weeks have been a rotation of tacos/fajitas, ravioli, and brats or burgers on the grill though because pregnancy. Drunken Thai noodles? Sounds delicious. Is it hard to make? Glad your interview went well! Keep us posted!

It is another recipe we cycle through every other week or so, I am a sucker for Asian inspired cuisine. This is the one we use: ellysaysopa.com/2011/09/12/drunken-noodles/

Last night I asked DD if she wanted a baby brother or baby sister. She said "hmmmn, I want baby Margaret!" (From Daniel tiger) The mind of a two year old lol. Anyway I'm super impatient waiting, it's 7:45 here and my appointment is at 11:45. We're going to do our social media announcement today after we find out too. N has been OBSESSED with that new baby episode. She watches it day and night

Possible tmi. Did anyone have hemorrhoids in previous pregnancies? Today I've used the bathroom twice and wipes to see bright red blood and the toilet water was pink. I had to check multiple times where it was coming from. I'm not uncomfortable but I'm wondering if that's what it is.

Ugh. DH just tried to talk to me about DS napping in my lap everyday. I started crying and can't stop the tears. I know our days are limited to be able to cuddle like that and that alone breaks my heart. But I also don't want to cuddle nap and then all of a sudden little brother is here and he blames the baby. Why am I having another baby if I'm so upset over this?

This sounds really good. Do your kids eat it? If so, do you tone down the spice? My kids LOVE it! I usually do not add the sambal oelek when cooking it but I love all the spice so I smother my personal bowl with sambal oelek or sriracha. My 3 year old sometimes asks for me to add "spicy sauce" to hers, too.

sarahh, I had what I think was a hemorrhoid a few weeks ago. No blood here but it itched and was a little painful. I used tucks pads and prep H and it was gone in a few days.

Why am I having another baby if I'm so upset over this? (((HUGS))) I have let DS nap on my lap quite a bit, but I actually started nap training last Thursday. I just decided to rip the band-aid off now and get it over with. I've been nesting hardcore and wanted nap time to work on projects, and I knew I needed to do it before baby anyway. Your feelings are totally normal - don't be hard on yourself.

When it first happened, there was a lot of blood. I wasn't uncomfortable, but having BMs later was painful (felt like shards of glass). It got worse after birth, but hasn't flared up in about a year. Miralax was my best friend.

readinglove, I have a feeling that's what I have. I used miralax during first tri but stopped after that when I didn't need it anymore, so I guess I better start using it again.

sarahh yes! 🙋🏻 they were bad and then awful after birth. Try over the counter products, but do NOT hesitate to ask your OB for a prescription cream. This saved me last time after birth
