For third+ time moms: Is it normal for your boobs to be different on the second kid? I feel like with DD, my boobs immediately swelled up and stayed that way throughout pregnancy. This time they are definitely bigger, but not as...firm... as last time, if that makes sense. I guess last time it was obvious that they were getting ready to produce milk and this time, other than getting bigger, there's really no sign. Anyone else experience this?

I looked at DH with wide eyes saying I hope so!

How do you know if the baby is head down? I had a lot of ultrasounds with DD because of complications so I never even thought about it

riverraine A girl in my yoga class finally got her baby to flip using spinning babies. She was 36 weeks, so it can work. Good luck! blackmamba DD was the same, I spent many hours in the first 3 months bouncing on that thing. danvers I hope it's nothing and your DD is ok. MY MIL also eats major crackers and she's coming to stay in our small house for who knows how long when this baby comes. She sounds like yours. Hopefully you guys can figure something out.

I'm not sure if I remember the boob differences exactly but so much is different with each pregnancy. I would not interpret less full boobs as they won't be ready or anything like that.

I thought LO was head down and I was carrying lower but today I look higher and I feel like the baby is sideways.. I feel like I'm not a good judge of this tho I have no concept of which body parts are where, but he's been head down for weeks now, so I can at least picture that. I feel like I should know since this is my second pregnancy, I'm pretty sure the head is down but the rest of the body seems to be sideways.

Not to give anyone anxiety or anything but... I was curious at what week most doctors wouldn't stop labor if it started, and Google tells me 34-35 weeks (depending on doctor of course). GUYS. THAT'S NEXT WEEK. I actually get relieved when this time comes. I've had a good number of pre term deliveries with people close to me, one friend at 28 and another 32 and a friend with twins at 31 so I get less anxious when I start getting closer to the safety zone. Just putting a positive spin on it for you! You are absolutely not wrong! It's just crazy to constantly be thinking 7 weeks and then realize that it *could* be 1 week. Like, I'm good with 7 that's a nice, far away number where I can keep procrastinating things. 1 is not, lol.

H's interview went well, so we will see, it was with his bosses boss. There is a shortage of people in the position he is being considered for across the company so even if he doesn't get this position they may consider him for it at another location. We will see! rebeccabunch PT still going well? DD had two accidents at daycare today and she's not really in the habit of telling us/daycare that she needs to go.

I wish I could tell body parts. I have no idea if it's a hand foot or butt sticking out. And sometimes I try to push it down (gently) or move it and H always screams "That could be his head!" Everything just feels like a hard ball moving around.

Our board is booming tonight! I love it. Thanks for the responses. I guess it's just weird not having them sore and hard pre-birth like with DD. Hopefully everything works out and my milk comes in like it should. britt, I know baby is head down from ultrasounds and bc the midwife confirms when she does a Doppler heart rate check at every appointment. Somehow she can feel my stomach and tell me exactly what body part is where in my stomach.

Im going to try to remember to ask next appointment if she can tell his position.
We took DS to get shoes tonight and half the stores were closed already for the hurricane and the other half didn't have his size. Poor kid had outgrown his shoes and we didn't know. We just went up a size 3 months ago.

My OB just feels my stomach and can tell what body part is where. I myself have no idea what is what.
So potty training officially starts tomorrow, but we did a couple hours of naked time tonight and he peed in the potty for the first time ever and had no accidents. It could all go downhill but at least it's off to an encouraging start!

danvers, I hope your DD doesn't have a fracture and will not require you to travel farther than needed and nothing wrong with wanting to be with you DD! I would definitely want to be there for her if at all possible for any circumstance.

I definitely know bubs is head down. The last couple of days bubs has been head butting my cervix and stretching/kicking me in my ribs and lungs making me unable to breathe and also causing pressure down below. SaveSave

How old is your DS? We also like Stride Rites and the closest is over an hour away so doesn't make sense to drive all the way just to get shoes with a whiny toddler. SaveSave

So I've officially jumped onto the sheet mask bandwagon thanks to Taitai and my new hair stylist which I love! So I have a sheet mask on while HIH this evening. She did a great job on cutting my hair - I have a difficult thick head of hair and need lots of styling to get it looking good if the hair cut isn't right and I needed a wash and go style if at all possible. She also happened to be Korean so maybe she understand how to cut Asian hair!!?? Anyways she also convinced me to start using sheet masks to hydrate my skin given the super arid climate out where we live. She said she liked Nature Republic's stuff. Also the fact that she is local(ish) is the best!- my regular stylist is 3/4 of the way into the city so not so convenient now that I no longer work in the city.

duskymonkey Yesssss to sheet masking! It is so good for skin hydration and I honestly notice a difference when i slack on it. I didn't sheet mask for about 5 days in a row due to my cold (constant nose blowing), and then I got back to it last night. It was so nice to get back in the routine and my skin looked noticeably better this morning. If you need other brand suggestions, lemme know! My Beauty Diary is available on target.com and they have a really good reputation. I also love Naruko. riverraine Good luck with the PT tomorrow - you can do it! danvers So sorry about your DD's hand! I hope it's nothing serious 🤞🤞 August Blooms - Omg - your MIL is coming to stay at your house and you don't know for how long???

SaveSaveHe's four and he wears like a size 12 now. H ordered a couple of pairs from amazon and that's how we realized he had outgrown all his shoes. So we returned them and went in person to try some on. Will probably just be ordering from amazon again.

danvers, I hope DD's hand is ok. I'd take off work to be there, too. I've never heard this term about "eating crackers" before and it's making me giggle. I'm lucky though, I adore my MIL. Occasionally she'll do something I don't love, but we see eye to eye 99% of the time. And she's smart, funny, and gives me the free samples she doesn't like from her beauty boxes. Love her. Baby was breech at 28 weeks. I have an US next week so I'll know for sure if that changed. I *THINK* baby flipped because I thought I felt hiccups down low the other day, but I can't tell the head from the butt and I'm waiting for the doctor to figure it out.

Taitai And I can't even really drink! The whole situation is crazy, on the plus side of a possible IUGR diagnosis is that I probably will be induced earlier than my due date which means they won't be here as long.

I know you posted links for other but it was a while back and so happened that was the same week I think I got my haircut and my new stylist started talking about it and I also needed to get a few items from target but couldn't go out for them and needed to make up free shipping so I figured why the heck not. So glad I did! My face felt so much softer and moisturised over the last few days. I think I'll put another on tonight 😬. We'll see how it works overtime on my neglected 40 something leather skin 😅. The challenge for me is to keep it up. I always fall off keeping up with any beauty routine and have really not bothered since movng out here. People here are so much more "natural" than in the city.

Yay! I'm glad you like the MBD ones! They are awesome....if for nothing else than just a little bit of pampering/relaxing at the end of the day. I am going to be sad when I have to stop sheet masking regularly once the baby arrives. I just know any spare second I have will be spent sleeping and not lounging with a sheet mask the first few months....😅😩ðŸ˜
