Hi! I haven't been around bc of finals. But I passed patho (with an A) and pharmacology (with a C). I'm not too happy with the C but at least I passed and those classes are over!!! I dropped $2k on books/supplies yesterday. And my hospital orientation is tomorrow so my girls are staying with my mom tonight. 10 days until the upper level program starts!! At first I misread your post to say that you dropped 2K on boots, and I was like — Damn, who are you?! Sarah Jessica Parker?! If only I had $2k for boots.... I barely have that much for books ![](https://media.giphy.com/media/3o6wrebnKWmvx4ZBio/giphy.gif)

Guys. My heart. A few days ago I took the boys to the park and I attempted to do a pull up. Both boys saw me. Today I took The boys to the park and look what Ethan did. ![](https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170824/cdb2fa0712b7f784ae6abf7d19935cbe.jpg)

You guys, the machines are off and one is gone! I still can't use my kitchen, but at least there is silence for now, I was so happy I started crying. Once they do the demo the air scrubber will need to go back on. I requested they set up a lock box to gain access to the house. I'm tired of having to be here every couple hours to let someone in. It makes it really hard to get anything done.

Wisdom tooth pain is at about a 9/10... This is awful Yikes— are you getting them removed? No plan at the moment. I've been told for 15 years that they are all impacted and need to come out. I'm scared though and 99% of the time they don't bother me. But the last few months, my bottoms are so painful. I think I'm finally at the point that I need to get over my fear and get them out

This no kitchen thing does suck... I ended up eating Doritos and cream cheese for breakfast, followed by 1/2 a bag of candy corn. I feel sick... I have a doc appointment later today and my 2nd glucose test- I should probably chill out on the sugar. =0/

taketheshot definitely get them taken out. It's not as scary as you think it will be and I was recovered after a weekend just stay on top of the pain. It's definitely not worth being in pain over.

Since yours are impacted, you will probably go under general anesthesia for it bc I think it's hard to pull those. And wisdom teeth pain is so awful, I would get them out ASAP!

I agree. Definitely not that bad. I had mine out when I was 17. The drugs were good and I was eating some solids by the end of the day.

We are at the park. There is a inhome day here and a little girl whose looks to be 3 running around with a tooth brush in her mouth. I have fears of kids running with objects in their mouth and falling Me too. My brother fell at 18 months with a metal spoon in his month while running. It was not a pretty sight and required an ER trip.

What's this pondering about???? Nosey Nelly over here wants to know! I feel like every 6 months I decide I want to move, then we look at houses for a while and ultimately decide to stay. It's been going on for years now. The problem is what I want doesn't exist, lol. I know the house style I want (and H and I are basically on the same page), larger, front room with big windows and separate family room off kitchen, big yard, 90s build (I'm not in love with 90s decor, but I'm always drawn to the layouts of houses from that decade). BUT, we live in an old neighbourhood that we LOVE... both the community and location. Almost all the houses were built in the 50s, and although there are a lot of new infill houses they're still not really my style (most are very modern and "skinny"), and they're out of our price range. So that's why we always stay put... but especially if we want to TFAS, I really do want more space. We are at the point where if we stay we'll need to do renos before we can fit another kid. There are things I want that I'll never have in this house/area (en suite, island or breakfast bar, main/second floor laundry, pantry, larger family room). But I also think we wouldn't be as happy living in a more suburban area. Whoa. TL/DR - Location vs. House I would talk to a contractor about renovating. You maybe able to work in more of your wish list then you realize.

Yesterday I was judging myself for ordering two pretzels. I put the extra in the fridge.
Now I'm grateful for my prior planning.

amberlie, are you safely out of the path of the hurricane? I believe so. It's set to hit the coast as a category 3 on Saturday, we'll see how far north it gets. I expect we may have rain/thunderstorms but nothing major.

avocadotoast, I vote for location. There are a few things I don't like about our house either but we are in such a great neighborhood, that has become so important to us. mrspiatt, glad today has been better! amberlie, congrats on checking off 2 more classes! You are getting there! taketheshot, do it. You'll be glad to put all the tooth worry behind you! layloo, yay for your mom!! I had a good appointment. I misunderstood at the last one, so this wasn't actually the fetal echocardiogram, they can't do that until 24 weeks (I'm 16). But everything they could see looked great, we were even counting fingers and stuff....the ultrasounds at MFM are so much better than my local OB. And we could see that the heart has four chambers, which is encouraging. The hygroma that was visible earlier was actually gone too! And the nuchal fold looked normal, it wasn't thicker than it should be. My work BFF goes for her anatomy scan tomorrow so we're going to take a pic of our boys to share our news with our other co-workers when we go back on Monday!

skinandbones is right, avocadotoast. My dad is a contractor and can pretty much make anything happen, as long as building code allows! My dream for our house is a mudroom but our layout doesn't really work. Although if we made the garage bigger, it would possible allow it....although I'm not sure we could build out on that side, due to property lines.

It would have to be a massive reno (addition) - we have a 1.5 story so we'd probably have to gut the entire top floor and build a true two story... and there would be some other big challenges too... but I'd be curious to find out what kind of options we have.
