Height: 5'1"
Weeks pregnant: 7w2d
Baby is the size of a: blueberry
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: STM, 3rd time pg
Team: finding out
Appointments: w/ the OB this past Monday. U/s went great, but I've lost a few pounds
Symptoms: remarkably less than last week. A smidge of nausea here and there and only one vomiting episode. I am noticing that I'm getting lightheaded a lot, and I feel out of breath almost instantly if I do anything more than normal-speed walking.
Milestones: first u/s
Rants/Raves/Vents: Soooo thankful that the nausea from last week has inexplicably disappeared - it's never felt more fulfilling to eat an entire meal.

sammysam, I can take this over for you if you want? Age: 32
Height: 5'9 Weeks pregnant: 9w1d Baby is the size of a: canape / grape / jack FTM/STM/TTM/etc: STM Team: Finding out (T-11 weeks hopefully) Appointments: 12w appt + ultrasound on 9/13 Symptoms: Nausea and general unappealingness of food. Don't get me wrong, I'm still eating everything, but only because I'm constantly hungry. Nothing actually sounds appealing. Milestones: - Rants/Raves/Vents: I was actually debating getting a home doppler because I'm insane. it'd probably just drive me crazy, right?

Age: 31
Height: 5'3
Weeks pregnant: 10
Baby is the size of a: Lego person
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: STM
Team: PINK
Appointments: Next appointment is my integrated screen scan on Sept 11. I did see her on ultrasound last week though, so I'm trying not to sweat the next two and a half weeks.
Symptoms: Still feeling pretty tired, but I'm staying on top of sleep okay. I'm getting about 9-10 hours a night. Wild. Nausea has subsided.
Milestones: Every day <3
Rants/Raves/Vents: I'm still not dealing well with (kind, well intentioned people) who know I'm PG. I specifically worked late last night so I wouldn't have to see MIL at our house before she left (she picks up DS on Tuesdays from camp). But she stayed late just so she could see me and make a fuss over me. I wanted to DIE you guys, which I know is not an appropriate reaction to someone being nice and excited for you. But she was all "HOW ARE YOU FEELING ::excited smile::" and I just was cringing inside so bad. Obviously its not her fault. But I wish people would pick up what I'm putting down. I'm not bubbling over with excitement. I'm cautious, anxious, scared, nervous, and matter-of-fact about all of this. I'm not sorry I've told some people, because I do need the support of people who understand what I'm going through and respond in-kind. I really appreciate friends who reach out to say "How are you hanging in there? I've been thinking of you."

FTM/STM/TTM/etc: 5th

Appointments: Monday for confirmation and bloodwork
Symptoms: ridiculous morning sickness, fatigue
Milestones:
Rants/Raves/Vents: I'm struggling with when to take my hypothyroid meds. I used to take them in the morning but I have to take them on an empty stomach. I'm so sick in the morning and need to eat before I step out of bed so I started taking them at night. Now I feel like they are screwing up my sleep. I'm debating setting an alarm for 4am? I don't know.

smootiepie yay for feeling better! cornpop i have definitely been tempted to get a doppler, but i think i would definitely drive myself nuts with it. i hope you start feeling better soon. calendula ((hugs)) Age: 34 Height: 5'3" Weeks pregnant: 11w5d Baby is the size of a: profiterole FTM/STM/TTM/etc: stm Team: finding out Appointments: 8/31 Symptoms: a little less tired, a little less cranky, and i thought my skin might be done breaking out but woke up with a huge one right on the tip of my chin😬 Milestones: Rants/Raves/Vents: i can't believe i have just over a week of first tri left😱 i'm also getting very anxious about getting harmony testing done. i feel like i am letting all the bad scenarios and what ifs take over. it sounds like i'm trying to borrow trouble, but i'm just trying to focus on enjoying each phase of this pregnancy (even though each phase isn't necessarily super enjoyable). bleh. sorry to be a downer. i am also eager to find out the sex of this baby. obviously i just want a healthy baby, but type a me needs to know! i don't have the will power of you team green ladies!

Weeks pregnant: 9
Baby is the size of a: cherry
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: STM

Appointments: regular OB 9/7 and NT ultrasound 9/14
Symptoms: nausea pretty much all day every day, dizziness, bloat which I don't think is going away at this point
Milestones: baby is now considered a fetus
Rants/raves/vents: I'm having such a hard time finding any food that sounds good so eating is so difficult but then I feel sick if I don't eat. But then if I eat too much I feel sick so I can't win. I really hope this goes away once second tri hits.

calendula, I forget if you've said, but have you asked your H to tell her how you're feeling and not to make a big deal out of it yet? I think it's just really hard for people who haven't had losses to understand.

Age: 32
Height: 5'4
Weeks pregnant: Almost 6
Baby is the size of a: something extremely small
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: STM
Team: TBD
Appointments: Had one today... I have been bleeding and seemed like not good news. So my doc brought me in for an U/S and we could see the gestational sac. She's still concerned about the bleeding (as am I) so we are going to be optimistic but took another blood draw so tomorrow will see if I'm increasing or decreasing.
Symptoms: See above
Milestones: Seeing something on the ultrasound was huge
Rants/Raves/Vents: I had to step away as it got kinda intense the last few days. I was pretty sure things were going another way. Glad that I have a reason to be optimistic. Now just gotta wait.

I think it's just really hard for people who haven't had losses to understand. Yes, you're totally right, and my MIL is so nice that she would do what she could. I just feel like I'm the one being ridiculous so I haven't pushed it. He did tell her that we were feeling cautious. So, current plan, avoid seeing people for the next few months? Totes reasonable, right?

Symptoms: I'm getting into a weird game of is it heartburn or is it nausea. I'm not really liking this game though and hope it stops soon.
Milestones:
Rants/Raves/Vents: My husband is driving me crazy. He keeps telling me I should go to the dr if I'm not feeling good and questioning if this is normal. Yes, I know this isn't how I was last time, but it's normal and I am seeing my dr in 2 weeks. There's nothing really that they will do that I am not already doing.

calendula, you're not being ridiculous at all. I'm so thankful my family and friends know to give me space, but if/when things progress further and they get more excited, I know I'm going to need to tell them to tone it down, too. I'm not a fan of attention, so I feel you. It's okay to set boundaries. twocupsofcoffee, I am so sorry about the bleeding scare! Hopefully it's something that clears up easy or has a non-threatening reason (like a SCH) and there's absolutely nothing to worry about. Keep us updated. *hugs* Age: 28 Height: 5'7" Weeks pregnant: 8,5 Baby is the size of a: Half a Lego brick FTM/STM/TTM/etc: First take-home baby Team: GreenAppointments: Tomorrow, first OB appointment Symptoms: Extreme fatigue/exhaustion, lack of appetite (except junk like ice cream and candy), occasional nausea & moodiness Milestones: n/a Rants/Raves/Vents: I'm still really nervous about tomorrow. I just want us to see a little wiggly bean and be able to breathe a momentary sigh of relief. I can't stop seeing the last ultrasound (of my previous pregnancy) with a very still image in my head. I'm so scared. Very glad that MrRama made the decision to use one of his very few days off to come to this appointment with me. I couldn't do it alone and I'd feel way worse if he couldn't come.

twocupsofcoffee, I hope the bleeding thing ends up being NBD for you. I'll be thinking of you. And I hope everyone else who is having some anxiety gets reassurance soon. The mind games are hard. Age: 35 Height: 5'7" Weeks pregnant: 8w3d Baby is the size of a: pygmy sea horse I think. Something cute though. FTM/STM/TTM/etc: STM Team: Tell me right now. I'll be finding out for sure. Enough surprises for me Appointments: I have my first appt with the prenatal clinic on the 29th and then my nuchal US on Sept 18. Symptoms: Dizziness (new this round), constant seasickness nausea, dead tiredness and a general sense of garbage feeling. Milestones: I had to unbutton my pants yesterday around 3pm. Today I made it until noon. But I also have a hand on my Ovia app and its really teeny and cute and I was giddy over it. Rants/Raves/Vents: The weight gain/bloatedness. I just lost 45 pounds before getting KU and the weight gain is really hard to accept right now. I am trying to eat well but everything and nothing makes me feel sick. So I am eating toast and cereal and crackers to stave off the nausea because those I can stomach ok, but if I eat too much I feel sick and if I don't eat, I feel sick. That and icy cold drinks. Which explains the weight gain so far. And I want to stay active but I'm so damn tired. Its been hard. And my bff has had a lot of IF issues over the last couple of years and I'm kind of dreading tell her. I know she will be happy for me, but its going to make her sad and I hate that she is going to be sad. So I've kind of been avoiding her in the last couple of weeks because I think she'll guess and I really want to tell her over text so she can process without being right in front of me. And its birthday this weekend so I'm waiting until that is over.

Age: same as last week Height: ditto Weeks pregnant: 11 weeks Baby is the size of a: key lime FTM/STM/TTM/etc: STM Team: Blue! Appointments: I had my first OB appointment on Monday and it went well. LO actually resembled a human this time! Next appointment is the NT scan next Thursday. Symptoms: I had to go open my big mouth about how much better I was feeling. Today has been awful. Lots of nausea and started off the day with dry heaving/vomiting. Otherwise just exhaustion, bloat and sore boobs. And headaches started yesterday. Milestones: nothing major this week Rants/Raves/Vents: I'm so sick of the bloat/weight gain, especially in the face. Mine is due to my IVF meds, specifically the prednisone, and I'm so over feeling like I look like a balloon. I feel like it's so obvious to everyone that I'm pregnant and I'm trying to hide it at work for another few weeks.

cornpop, I have a doppler and it provides me with some much needed support when I'm feeling anxious. It works for me, but I also have never had issues finding the HB. I think some people struggle with that and it causes anxiety. calendula, I totally get how you feel. My MIL is exactly the same way and I've already told DH to make sure they don't overwhelm me when we tell them bc she will be so excited and in my face and like you, we are still extremely cautious given my history. I think to the extent you or YH are comfortable conveying that, maybe she will contain her excitement in your presence.

It's my first week playing in this thread Age: 28 Height: 5'7" Weeks pregnant: 8w6d Baby is the size of a: 2x2 Lego, pygmy seahorse FTM/STM/TTM/etc: STM, 4th pregnancy Team: finding out! Appointments: NT scan and OB appt in mid-September Symptoms: all-day nausea, exhausted, sore boobs, breaking out, weird digestion issues. I'm a hot mess. Milestones: nothing big this week Rants/Raves/Vents: We found out there's a very good chance that DH will be laid off and/or the company he works at will be folding within a few months, if not weeks. He's started the job hunt, of course, but I'm a SAHM and our health insurance through his company is amazing. I'm very nervous that for whatever reason (new job health insurance changes, independent insurance options, etc) I won't be able to stay with my OB and hospital system, and I'm extremely attached to both. The timing on this is just awful.

Age: 26
Height: 5'3"
Weeks pregnant: 13 wks 1 day
Baby is the size of a: matchbox car
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: first take home baby
Team: I am not sure yet
Appointments: next appt with my OB in a few weeks, not sure of the date
Symptoms: exhaustion, nausea that comes and goes
Milestones: every day is a milestone at this point! We did NT yesterday and it is just so surreal to see a tiny baby in there that actually looks like a baby. With arms and legs waving all over the place!
Rants/Raves/Vents: Speaking of the NT, my stubborn little baby refused to move into a position where the tech could get the measurement she needed. This was even after emptying my bladder, drinking juice and jumping around the office for a good 10 minutes. Baby decided that it was the perfect time to curl up and take a nap. So at this point I am just not going to be able to have it done because I can't get back in to the office in time. It's not a huge deal but I do feel like I wasted my money.
Also of note, I failed my 1 hr gtt (by FOUR POINTS!!) and have to go back and do the 3 hr. Blech. I will probably do that on Friday. Lucky me!

Age:29
Height: 5'5
Weeks pregnant: Still not sure. Hopefully I will know next week. My guess is around 7??
Baby is the size of a: Don't know this one either. Sorry.
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: TTM
Team: Know all the things as soon as possible.
Appointments: Monday will be my first appointment
Symptoms: Nausea like a lot, I'm freaking tired always no matter how much sleep I get and my boobs hurt. Oh and I has to pee like a gazillion times a day so I'm having to ask teachers to step in to supervise at least once a day when that doesn't fit into my passing period times.
Milestones: I don't think any right now
Rants/Raves/Vents: My pants don't fit me comfortably already and it's irritating me because I shouldn't have that problem yet. I'm really dragging my feet about digging out maternity clothes even though I know they would be more comfortable.
